𝐁𝐏𝐈-𝐍𝐒𝐐𝐂𝐒 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐈 𝐂𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐮𝐛

The Bureau of Plant Industry – National Seed Quality Control Services (BPI-NSQCS) conducted a visit to the RISATI Cut and Clone Nursery Hub as part of the institution’s initiative to pursue accreditation as an Ornamental Plant Nursery.

During the visit, the BPI-NSQCS team provided an orientation and technical guidance on the requirements, procedures, and accreditation process for ornamental plant nurseries. The activity served as a valuable opportunity for RISATI to gain a better understanding of the standards and requirements necessary to establish a compliant and quality-assured nursery operation.

RISATI expresses its appreciation to the BPI-NSQCS for the valuable guidance and support as we continue to strengthen our plant propagation and nursery management practices and pursue accreditation in accordance with established standards.

Busy ang ating YIPOA interns and PSU Sta. Maria OJTs sa pagre-repot ng ating Yellow Dragon Fruit plantlets—at ang cool part? These plants were multiplied through plant tissue culture dito sa RISATI!

From tiny plantlets na nagsimula sa laboratory, ngayon ay binibigyan na natin sila ng bagong home para mas lumaki, mas lumakas, at eventually maging productive plants.

Hindi lang basta nagre-repot—hands-on sila sa science, agriculture, and innovation!
