With more or less than 31 attendees, BNHS players gathered in the school's oval for the 2-day event to develop various fundamental skills, including batting, fielding, and pitchingโ€”along with teamwork and cooperation with one another. This rare opportunity builds the playersโ€™ determination and eagerness to train regardless being held this weekend.

The said event also prepares the players for the upcoming Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Athletic Association (NVPAA) 2025.

Supposedly, the clinic was to be conducted last November 22-23, but due to the effects of typhoon Uwan, it was later moved to November 29-30. The camp's next schedule will be at Morong, Bataan this coming weekend.

BNHS ballers are led by Leoben Galima, head coach, and Frederick Esteves, the assistant coach.

Villaverde District formally opened its three-day Mid-Year In-Service Training (INSET) on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Bintawan National High School, with activities centered on the Expanded Career Progression (ECP) System for Teachers and the districtโ€™s flagship initiative, Project RECHARGE: Revitalizing Educational Competencies, Harnessing Adaptability, Reaching Goals, Empowering Success. The program aims to strengthen instructional competencies, reinforce adaptability, and enhance professional development across the district.

The training convened teachers from various schools for a full day of sessions designed to deepen their understanding of professional growth pathways and reclassification processes.

Day 1 commenced with a pre-training assessment facilitated by the Planning and Monitoring Team (PMT), followed by the first major session led by Sir Teddy A. Buduan, T-III. In his presentation, he emphasized the value of continuous professional development in improving instructional effectiveness, using metamorphosis as a metaphor for professional growth.

The second session, Overview of the Expanded Career Progression Policy, was jointly discussed by Ma'am Elenalyn B. Taleon, MT-II and Ma'am Flordelyn R. Afan, MT-I. They provided participants with a comprehensive explanation of the ECPโ€™s structure, mobility opportunities, and its role in recognizing merit and expertise within the teaching profession.

In the afternoon, the training shifted to the technical aspects of career advancement. Master Teachers Elenalyn B. Taleon and Flordelyn R. Afan facilitated Session 3A, Procedures and Requirements for Reclassification, offering a detailed walkthrough of documentary requirements and qualification standards. This was followed by Session 3B, which focused on Qualification Standards (QS) and performance requirements under the ECP.

Two hands-on workshops were then conducted. Workshop 1, facilitated by Sir Jayson S. Delos Santos, T-III and Ma'am Rosemarie M. Labucay, T-III, guided participants in identifying QS relevant to various teaching positions. Workshops 2 and 3, led by Ma'am Janice A. Del Rosario, MT- I, trained teachers in the initial evaluation of QS and the assessment of performance requirements.

Day 1 concluded with monitoring and evaluation activities spearheaded by the PMT, along with reminders and instructions for Day 2.

The three-day Mid-Year INSET will run until November 29, gathering educators district-wide to deepen their understanding of career development processes and further elevate instructional practices.

Day 1 featured the group categories, where BNHS representatives competed in Collaborative Desktop Publishing, Scriptwriting and Radio Broadcasting, TV Broadcasting, and Online Publishing. Photojournalists also undertook their on-the-spot challenge, capturing compelling visual stories around the venue as part of their contest requirements. Students expressed both excitement and determination as they navigated the fast-paced opening day.
