On May 12, 2026, the Central Philippines State University - Victorias Campus Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit participated in the 12th commencement exercises in honor of the graduating students who successfully completed their academic journey. The event served as a celebration of their hard work, sacrifices, perseverance, and dedication throughout the years of study. It was a memorable occasion that recognized the achievements of the graduates as they prepared to enter a new chapter of their lives.

โ€ŽDuring the ceremony, the ROTC officers rendered the traditional Draw Sword Ceremony as a symbol of honor, respect, and recognition for the graduating students. The ceremonial highlights the importance of the occasion and paid tribute to the accomplishment of the graduates. The Color also rendered proper honors through the presentation of colors, adding dignity and solemnity to the event.

โ€ŽThe Central Philippines State University ROTC Unit, successfully conducted it's Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (RAATI) on April 23, 2026 at the main campus, with the active participation of cadets and cadettes from different campuses.

โ€ŽA total of 11 cadets and cadettes from CPSU Victorias Campus were selected to take part of the said activity. They were accompanied by CDT CPT Ross Ann Depamaylo, 2cl and CDT CPT Sarah Jane S Santillan, 2cl, who provided assistance and support throughout the duration of the event. The participants were also closely guided and supervised by CPL Ma Janessa B Cawaling, (RES) PA, CPSU Victorias NSTP Coordinator and PFC Mark Daniel Flores, (RES) PA, Graduate Military Assistant, ensuring proper coordination, discipline, and adherence to procedures.

โ€ŽThe CPSU ROTC Unit Victorias campus task mainly focused on the comprehensive examination, which tested the cadets' understanding of various military and academic subjects. Despite the challenges encountered during the preparation and ex*****on of the said activity, the cadets and cadettes demonstrated determination, discipline, and teamwork, contributing to the overall successful of the event.

โ€ŽThe successful conduct of Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection with the overall score of 91.58% reflects the dedication, discipline, and cooperation of both the cadets and cadet officers. It also highlights the commitment of the institution in maintaining high standards of training and evaluation among cadets and cadettes.

On December 14, 2025, in line with the Philippine Army 90th Anniversary, the NSTP of Central Philippines State University ROTC Unit of Victorias campus participated in the Nationwide blood donation activities conducted in Brgy. Mambulac, Covered Court, Silay City, Negros Occidental. This event was actively participated by 11 ROTC Officers and 16 cadets.

These activities demonstrate the spirit of Filipino Soldiers serving and saving lives.

The dayโ€™s instruction strengthened cadetsโ€™ appreciation of military heritage and their commitment to discipline and unity.

The Central Philippines State University (CPSU) โ€“ Victorias ROTC Unit officially commenced the 1st Saturday Instruction of the Second Semester on December 13, 2025, marking the continuation of ROTC training for the Academic Year.

The activity focused on ROTC Orientation and Preparatory Activities in anticipation of the upcoming Presentation of Parents and Sponsors (POPAS). Cadets were briefed on program expectations, responsibilities, and the significance of parental and sponsor involvement in the ROTC journey.

Following the orientation, ROTC officers conducted planning and coordination activities for POPAS, ensuring organized ex*****on and effective participation. The planning session was led by SSG MILOVER T NARDO (INF) PA, Admin NCO who provided guidance on leadership roles, coordination, and operational readiness.

The activity reinforced discipline, organization, and teamwork among cadets and officers, setting a strong foundation for the successful conduct of upcoming ROTC activities and strengthening the partnership between the ROTC Unit, parents, and sponsors.

The Central Philippines State University (CPSU) โ€“ Victorias ROTC Unit successfully conducted another day of comprehensive military instruction on November 22, 2025, equipping cadets with essential skills and knowledge crucial to their formation as disciplined future leaders.
The morning sessions covered two major instructional components. Cadets first underwent Basic Life Support training led by CDT LTC CHRISTIAN ANTHONY P DULAY, 1CL, Corps Commander, emphasizing vital emergency response skills and the importance of immediate action during life-threatening situations. This was followed by Weapons Training, facilitated by MA JANESA B CAWALIN, NSTP Coordinator, together with PVT ALEX G ALINSALORIN, PA (Res), focusing on safety protocols, weapons handling fundamentals, and the responsible use of military equipment.
In the afternoon, cadets shifted to academic and practical knowledge-building. Philippine Military History, delivered by CDT CAPT ROSS ANNE DEPAMAYLO, 2CL, provided cadets with a deeper understanding of the nationโ€™s military heritage, heroism, and the evolution of defense institutions. The day concluded with Survival Techniques, instructed by PVT MARK DANIEL FLORES, PA (Res), where cadets learned essential survival strategies, resourcefulness, and field readinessโ€”skills crucial during operations and emergencies.

Despite the bad weather, ROTC cadets of CPSUโ€“Victorias Unit pushed forward with discipline and dedication as they carried out their scheduled Tree Planting Activity. In partnership with the Victorias City Environment and Natural Resources Office (VCENRO) and supported by the locals of Baranggay 13, Victorias City, the cadets worked hand in hand to plant seedlings across the designated site.

The activity highlighted the cadetsโ€™ resilience and unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship, proving that service continues even in challenging conditions. Through teamwork and shared purpose, the cadets, VCENRO personnel, and community volunteers contributed to building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Victorias City.

The Central Philippines State University (CPSU) โ€“ Victorias ROTC Unit continued its mission to shape disciplined and value-driven cadets through the 7th ROTC Instruction, held on October 25, 2025.

The dayโ€™s session focused on Values and Development, led by CDT MAJ REYNALDO C BOBADILLA III, 1CL, who emphasized the importance of integrity, respect, discipline, and commitment in military and civilian life. The lecture highlighted how strong moral values serve as the foundation for leadership and service, guiding cadets not only as members of the ROTC but also as responsible citizens.

Through the discussion, cadets were encouraged to apply these values in their daily lives, fostering teamwork, accountability, and dedication to duty. The session also reinforced ROTCโ€™s goal of nurturing future leaders who embody patriotism, excellence, and service to the nation.

October 25, 2025 โ€“ COCC Training Graduation at CPSU Main Campus ๐ŸŽ–๏ธ

The Central Philippines State University (CPSU) Reserve Officersโ€™ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit proudly concluded its annual Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC) Training, held from October 20โ€“25, 2025, at the CPSU Main Campus.

This yearโ€™s program focused on developing leadership skills, discipline, and camaraderie among aspiring ROTC officers. A total of 189 cadet trainees from different campuses, successfully completed the week-long training filled with intensive military instruction, leadership exercises, and physical endurance tests.

The opening ceremony of COCC CLASS 01-2025 "DILAAB" on October 21 was graced by City Mayor Hon. Benjie Miranda, who inspired cadets to uphold service and leadership. Throughout the week, cadets underwent rigorous activities including reception rites, lectures, drills, and physical fitness challenges, designed to enhance teamwork and discipline.

The training also featured a โ€œSmokersโ€™ Nightโ€, fostering camaraderie among participants.

The training culminated in a Closing Ceremony on October 25, 2025, attended by Hon. Congresswoman Mercedes Alvarez, who congratulated the cadets for their perseverance and dedication. Her presence emphasized the essential role of ROTC in shaping the next generation of responsible and service-oriented leaders.

October 11, 2025 โ€“ 6th ROTC Instruction at CPSUโ€“Victorias ROTCU began early in the morning with a meaningful Mangrove Planting Activity held at Pasil, Brgy. VI-A, Victorias City, in partnership with the National Service Training Program (NSTP) of Central Philippines State Universityโ€“Victorias.

The activity was led by Hon. Ana Mae Claro, Barangay Captain of Brgy. VI-A; Mr. Oting Villanueva, Fisherfolk President; and Ms. Lara Ann Garcia, VCENRO Head, together with NSTP personnel Theresa Jane D.C. Gutierrez, Peter Gerald Junsay, Ma JANESA B CAWALING, MAED, NSTP Coordinator, PVT APRIL JOHN M ABANCIO, RCRIM PA (RES) A total of 1,200 mangrove seedlings were planted by the NSTP cadets from CWTS, LTS, and ROTC, contributing to environmental protection and community resilience.
