With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Ng Mariza Salcedo truly remarkable and dedicated teacher of Daan Banwa Elementary School whose life was devoted to shaping minds and touching hearts. Her passion for education was evident in every lesson she taught, every pupil she guided, and every life she inspired.
Ma’am Mariza was more than an educator—she was a mentor, a source of strength, and a beacon of kindness. She had a rare gift of making her pupils feel valued, capable, and seen. Her classroom was not just a place of learning, but a space filled with encouragement, compassion, and hope. As many say, a great teacher leaves a lasting mark on the hearts of the pupils, and her influence will continue to live on through all those she has taught .

Her dedication went beyond the call of duty. She gave not only her knowledge but also her time, patience, and love. She believed in her pupils even when they doubted themselves, and because of her, many found the courage to dream and succeed. Indeed, teachers like her shape not only academic growth but also character and purpose in life .
Though she may no longer be with us physically, her legacy will forever remain in the countless lives she touched. Every lesson remembered, every value instilled, and every success achieved by her pupils is a testament to the beautiful life she lived.
