🎓✨ Empowered by Knowledge and Skills, Committed to Service, Ready to Lead ✨🎓
Central Philippine State University - Victorias Campus successfully conducted its 12th Commencement Exercises on May 12, 2026, at the Victorias City Sports and Amusement Center. Carrying the theme, “Empowered by Knowledge and Skills, Committed to Service, Ready to Lead,” the ceremony became a celebration of perseverance, excellence, and academic achievement as graduating students officially concluded an important chapter of their educational journey. 🌟
The ceremony commenced with a solemn academic procession participated in by the graduating students together with their parents, academic honorees, faculty and staff, members of the Academic and Administrative Council, Board of Regents, university officials, and guests. Representatives from the College of Agriculture and Forestry, College of Computer Studies, College of Hospitality Management, and College of Teacher Education proudly joined the processional rites. 🎓
The invocation and singing of the Philippine National Anthem were led by the CPSU Catholic Youth Organization, setting a meaningful and dignified atmosphere for the event. Afterwards, Dr. Noel B. Fordente, DPA, Campus Administrator, delivered the Words of Welcome, congratulating the graduates for their hard work and reminding them to uphold the values and principles they learned from the university.
Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, PhD, SUC President, then shared his Message of the President, inspiring the graduates to become responsible professionals and future leaders who will contribute positively to society. The presentation of graduates from the different colleges was conducted by the respective Deans and Program Heads, followed by the official Confirmation of Graduates led by Dr. Moraca. ✨
The commencement speaker was formally introduced by Dr. Christian M. Sabando, PhD, Dean of Instruction. Hon. Juvy A. Pepello, Guest of Honor and Commencement Speaker, delivered an inspiring commencement speech that encouraged the graduates to remain resilient, dedicated, and service-oriented as they pursue their careers and aspirations beyond the university.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the distribution of diplomas led by Mr. Jonas D. Singson, MAEd, Campus Registrar, together with university officials, deans, and program heads. Latin awardees were also recognized for their outstanding academic performance under the leadership of Mr. Jol T. Gumawa, RSW, MPA, OSSA Coordinator. 🏅
During the commencement address, Albert Ma. S. Magante, Highest Academic Honors Awardee, expressed gratitude and inspiration on behalf of the graduating class. Meanwhile, the Pledge of Loyalty was led by Regine G. Leonico, Second Highest Academic Achiever, reminding the graduates of their commitment and loyalty to their alma mater. The Alumni Pledge was administered by Ms. Nelly N. Cabual, Alumni and Board of Regents Secretary.
To formally conclude the program, Dr. Grenny I. Jungco, PhD, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered the closing remarks, leaving words of encouragement and hope to the graduates as they embark on new journeys in life. The graduating students also rendered the graduation song “Saranggola” by Ben & Ben, followed by the singing of the CPSU School Hymn. 🎶💚
The 12th Commencement Exercises became a memorable milestone for the graduates, parents, faculty members, and the entire CPSU Victorias Campus community. The event not only celebrated academic success but also highlighted the university’s dedication to producing graduates who are empowered with knowledge and skills, committed to service, and ready to lead the future. 🌱✨
