LOOK: The Mindoro State University Main Campus ROTC Unit, approved the request of the College Student Council to give merit points for being an official registered voter for the 2022 elections in their NSTP class.

The resolution (CSC Resolution No. 9 s. 2021) proposed by the council acknowledges every students’ right to suffrage and emphasized the vital role of the youth patriotism, nationalism and involvement in public and civic affairs.

Moreover, as stipulated in RA 9163, also known as the National Service Training Program, it shall pursue programs aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth by developing ethics of service and participation.

This initiative will help the institution in upholding its core values, the simple incentives will encourage students of MinSU Main Campus towards active engagement in the noble campaign.

All enrolled students in their NSTP Class are encourage to submit their proof of voter registration to receive the merit points. You may send the any of the following proof:

1. Voter Registration Slip (received after you registered at COMELEC)
2. Certified Copy of Voter Registration (requested at the Local COMELEC Office)

Admission Period for incoming 1st year college: June 14- July 30, 2021.

Enrollment for Summer Class: July 5-9, 2021
Enrollment for First Year College: August 02-20, 2021
Enrollment for Old Students: August 23-Sept. 10 2021

*According to the university registrar, incoming first year college shall contact the respective college you are interested to enroll in and fill-up the link they will provide.
