A Grade 8 student from Victoria National High School has brought pride to his school and community after securing a Bronze Medal in the Junior Male Novice (Under 45kg) category at the National New Face of the Year Taekwondo Championship held at Rizal Memorial Stadium, Manila.

Jon Lennon Alejandro, a student from Grade 8 Opal under the guidance of Maโ€™am Grace Flores, showcased exceptional skill, discipline, and determination throughout the competition. His achievement reflects not only his dedication to the sport but also the strong support system behind him.

Alejandro is trained by Sir Allen Buensalida of the NS AGB Victoria Vipers Taekwondo Team, whose mentorship played a vital role in honing his abilities. His success marks a significant milestone and serves as an inspiration to fellow young athletes in the community.

It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the passing of Florencio โ€œKuya Boyetโ€ Cesar, our devoted school utility. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

For years, Kuya Boyet served our school with quiet dedication and unwavering humility. Beyond his daily work, he became a constant presence in our livesโ€”a familiar smile, a helping hand, and a source of warmth to students, teachers, and staff alike.

He was more than a utility workerโ€”he was family. His kindness echoed through every corridor he cared for, and his absence now leaves a silence deeply felt by the entire Victoria National High School community.

Though he may be gone, the legacy of his service and the memory of his goodness will forever remain in our hearts.

Requiescat in pace, Kuya Boyet. You will never be forgotten. ๐Ÿค
