VISION
The Victoria Society of Debaters envisions itself as a youth-led center of excellence in debate founded for the purpose of empowering young Victoreños through debate and discourse.
MISSION
The Victoria Society of Debaters aims to transform young Victoreños into fluent debaters and to provide them with a platform where they can freely and safely discuss societal issues.
GOALS
a. Improve the capacity of its members for investigation and analysis of significant contemporary problems to enable them to express their proficiency in critical thinking;
b. Purposefully inquire and make prompt analytical responses;
c. Enhance the abilities in debating, adjudicating, reasoning and other relevant skills to a debater;
d. Join different debate tournaments on all levels;
e. Expand the network of active and potential debaters within the municipality;
f. Facilitate and inspire the youth of Victoria to engage in worthwhile and enriching activities like debate.
