STORY TIME 📢

I began my journey as a Tutor/Teacher this January 2026, but I have been a Sunday School teacher for many years and a Teacher in Profession. Teaching has always been in my heart.

Before we start our class, I guide my students:
“Kamay nakadikit, ulo ay nakayuko, at mata ay nakapikit.”
Our first step is always prayer—and we also end our class with prayer.

I observed those little hands learning how to worship God. My 4- and 5-year-old students already know the routine. They know how to pray. 🤍

I am always reminded of this verse:

📖 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

For one month, I have been teaching them how to read, write, and do basic learning skills. But God reminded me of a greater priority—not only to fill their minds with knowledge, but to draw their hearts closer to Him.

One day, my student prayed and said:
“Thank you for Teacher May because she teaches me how to be mabuti.”

Praise God!

Those exact words melted my heart.

🙏 My Prayer

Lord, thank You for these little hands.
Help me to become an instrument to guide them and teach them according to Your purpose.

Lord, give me wisdom as I guide the children in my life.
Help me train them with patience, consistency, and love—aiming for their hearts, not just their behavior.
Teach me to model what I ask them to learn, and keep my classroom anchored in Your Word.
When I feel discouraged, help me trust You with what I cannot control.
Draw our children closer to You and keep them in Your ways.

In our Tutor Kids sessions, we focus not only on Reading and Writing but also on strengthening Fine Motor and Cognitive development 💛
