The EMC Journey

𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 "𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐁"🐦‍🔥
Proudly presented by 1st Year EMC for the CCS

Seeing "Alab" stand six feet tall and glowing beautifully, it is genuinely hard to believe that we created this giant with our own hands.

This parol became far more than just a requirement for a grade; it stands as a testament to the resilience and unity of our entire block.

Looking back at the journey, it’s amazing how we pulled it all together. We navigated strict material restrictions, literally scouted for thousands of dried leaves in the parking lot to serve as feathers, and endured the intense fumes of varnish. We still vividly remember the sheer exhaustion of those 14-hour shifts, fighting through sticky hands, backaches, and the overwhelming feeling that the work would never end.

There were honestly moments when the workload felt too heavy, but seeing the final result now, we realize every struggle, every logistical failure, and every drop of sweat was absolutely worth it.

"Alab" was designed to embody the burning passion of CCS, and we proved that passion exists throughout this process. We learned that no matter the restrictions or obstacles, as long as we work together, we will always find a way. We even built unexpected friendships along the way, bonding with our school staff, sharing laughs over messy mishaps, and surviving on pizza when we were too exhausted to move.

While this 6-foot phoenix is physically heavy, finally completing it feels incredibly light. The true "Alab" isn't just the red glow inside the parol, it’s the fire ignited within all of us, the burning pride of creating something majestic out of pure determination and teamwork.

We survived the journey, and we honestly couldn’t be prouder.

We finally took our educational tour to the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, what a day! It was the perfect mix of serious learning and pure fun.

We loved the place, it has a distinct, almost American feel, and the history they shared with us was truly fascinating. Definitely a unique experience!

The whole CCS group had such a blast. The best part? The long day ended with a party on the bus! Big thanks to Sir David (tatay ng EMC!) for starting a fun singing contest on the way home.

We ended CCS Days 2025 with a bang! Day 3 was an epic convergence of creativity, glamour, and solid achievements for our section.

So proud of our three entries! One from our section even bagged two awards! We truly brought the heat and the hype!

From Day 1 to Day 3, our section was everywhere, with almost everyone participating. It's been a blast. See you next year!

Our tech adventure continues! Day 2 was all about skill, fun, and teamwork as we navigated the different booths and successfully completed our Scroll Card Quests. So many games, so many prizes, it was the perfect blend of challenge and reward!
