Dalandanan NHS - Senior Scouting

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁

169 years ago, Robert Baden-Powell was born. He saw that young people can do more than they are told, and that character is shaped by the choices we make every day.

He trusted young people to stand on their own, to act with courage, and to keep their word. Scouting became the proving ground where actions, not words, define who you are, and where small choices shape a lifetime of character.

Founder’s Day reminds every Scout that leaving the world better starts with each of us. What you do, how you act, and the way you keep your word today can echo far beyond what you see.

The long wait is over. After several months of waiting, it is now official! Let us congratulate these three Senior Scouts from Dalandanan National High School who were awarded the Eagle Scout rank during a Court of Honor on February 8, 2025, at the Valenzuela City Blood Bank & Volunteer Center.

Reaching the highest attainable rank in Senior Scouting does not mark the end of your journey; rather, it is the beginning of your continued duty to live by the Scout Oath and Law. You all expected to be a role model to young scouts by being responsible citizens that our nation needs today.

May you all continue to soar high, Eagles, but remember to always keep your feet on the ground.

He saw the world as a place full of young people waiting to be challenged, guided, and trusted.

Robert Baden-Powell believed that character was built through action, courage, and simple acts of service. He didn’t just start a Movement but he showed how one person’s vision could inspire millions to step up, to care, and to lead by example.

Today, we remember him not only for what he founded, but for the values he lived every day.

A successful 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐞 was conducted and participated in by the new members of the Dalandanan NHS Senior Scouting. The event not only brought enjoyment but also provided them with essential skills that every Scout should learn, as well as ideals that will guide them in their lives as Scouts.

May we continue to learn not only the necessary skills but also to uphold good values and responsible citizenship. Let us strive not just to earn ranks and badges, but to become exemplary individuals and capable leaders for the next generation.
