I don’t know who needs to hear this but…

📢 Your child will learn and grow and progress with, without, or whether they have a speech, language, or Autism diagnosis.

If your child is not demonstrating a skill right now, it doesn’t mean they wont ever be able to do that skill. This includes talking, emotional regulation, academic skills, and so much more! It could mean that they may benefit from additional support and accommodations in order to make this progress (which is why I recommend both AAC and OT for sensory processing so often!).

It’s also important to note that not all people will learn all skills, and there are such thing as degenerative diseases. ALL PEOPLE have value. ❤️
