๐Ÿง  What is Arduino?

Arduino = openโ€‘source electronics platform made of hardware boards + free software you use to build things that sense, react, and control the real world. Created in Italy in 2005 so anyoneโ€”students, makers, designersโ€”can prototype easily.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Hardware

A small board with a microcontroller = the โ€œtiny computer brainโ€ that runs your instructions . Most common:

- Uno โ€“ standard starter board
- Nano โ€“ smaller for tight spaces
- Plus pins to plug in sensors, motors, lights, displays

Arduino IDE โ€“ free app where you write simple C/C++โ€‘based code, click upload, and your board follows it.
