As debaters, we are reminded that the freedom to speak, think, and exchange ideas is a privilege worth protecting.

The Debate Society proudly took part in a live segment on Unang Hirit, engaging in a timely and relevant discussion on the 4𝙋𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢, in partnership with the Supreme Student Council (SSC).

Through the guidance of 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙖 𝙅𝙤𝙮 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙖, the dialogue was elevated by addressing pressing national concerns, with 𝘿𝙎𝙒𝘿 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙭 𝙂𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙣 responding to key questions and sentiments reflective of the Filipino people. 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙝 𝙉𝙞𝙖𝙝 𝙀𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙤 (Outgoing DEBSOC President) and 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙞𝙖𝙝 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙤𝙣 (Outgoing DEBSOC Publication Head) demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills during the exchange, while 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙍𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖 (DEBSOC Committee Member) and 𝙂𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙨𝙤 (DEBSOC President) articulated their positions with clarity and conviction. This initiative was made possible through the collective effort and preparation of both the Debate Society and the SSC.
