On 12 May 2026, Mokpo National Maritime Universityโs two training vessels, SAENURI and SEGERO, arrived and berthed at the Port of Manila under the leadership of its new university administration. Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) was honored to be invited to a special dinner onboard as one of MMUโs strong partner institutions, together with other local universities and members of the Korean community in the Philippines, including dignitaries such as the Korean Ambassador and Navy Commodores.
Representing OLFU at this milestone event were:
University President โ Dra. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez
VP for Finance โ Mr. Vincent Kenneth S. Mercado
VP for Technological Advancement โ Mr. Rafael Vicente S. Enriquez
Dean, College of Maritime Studies โ Dr. Francis Jay D. Dela Cruz
Onboard Training Supervisor โ Mr. Mark Anthony Ramos
CPDAP Technical Assistant - Mr. Razel Reyes
Also on board were the current and former student exchange participants from both universities โ a testament to the strongest and most dynamic program of the OLFUโMokpo partnership.
This meaningful engagement does not only further strengthen and sustain our partnership; it also deepens its impact on students, faculty, industry partners, and the broader community. Moments like this embody the true purpose of academic partnerships and internationalization: building lasting relationships, creating life-changing opportunities, and shaping globally competent maritime professionals. ๐โ

From Quezon City to Malaysia ๐โจ
What started as a classroom dream is now a real-life journey for Ms. Frances Jane Alibania of the College of Physical Therapy Quezon City Campus. From April 1โ29, she is immersing herself at INTI International University in Malaysia, stepping into new labs, new cultures, and new ways of seeing Physical Therapy in action.
Frances is not just representing OLFU abroad; she is showing what happens when a student says โyesโ to growth, challenge, and learning beyond borders. Her story reminds us that Physical Therapy is more than techniques and exams โ it is about meeting people where they are, in different communities and countries, and bringing healing with both skill and heart.
To our current and future student exchanges: let this be your sign. Join immersions, international exposures, and other upcoming activities that push you out of your comfort zone. One decision, one application, one brave โIโll goโ can change the way you see your profession โ and yourself โ forever.
Congratulations, Frances! Your OLFU family is cheering you on. Who knows? The next passport stamp for an immersion like this might be yours. ๐๐

In partnership with Procivitate, Our Lady of Fatima University continues to open doors for students who dream of building their careers in Germany. The German Language Course for Nursing and Physical Therapy students is now in full swing, designed as the first big step toward possible employment in German healthcare facilities.
Last February 23, 2026 (Monday), OLFU once again welcomed Procivitateโs top executives, CEO Mr. Wolfgang Schotze and Executive Officer Mr. Christian Hallerbach, to the campus.
Their visit aimed to:
- Check in on the progress of our current German language learners.
- Share real world insights about working and living in Germany.
- Encourage more Nursing and PT students to start preparing early by joining the language training.
With Germanyโs growing demand for healthcare professionals and strong worker protections and benefits, this pathway gives OLFU students a clear advantage as they plan their future abroad. Learn the language nowโso when opportunity knocks in Germany, youโre ready to say Ja!
