Our ALS learners actively participated in the Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) Seminar with emphasis on STI and HIV Counseling and Testing, held on February 4, 2026 at the ALS Center, Parada. Together, we build awareness for a healthier and safer future.

Empowering ALS Senior High School Teachers for Holistic Education📚💖

Our three-day training held last November 19–21, 2025, at the ALS Center, Parada, Valenzuela City, has truly strengthened our commitment to deliver inclusive and transformative learning experiences for every ALS learner.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed resource speakers for generously sharing their expertise and guidance throughout the sessions. Your insights have truly enriched our practice and inspired us to elevate the quality of education we provide.

Each session gave us new lenses to understand our roles better. The strategies, best practices, and principles we learned from every speaker will be applied in our classrooms and community engagements—enhancing our instruction, strengthening learner support, and ensuring that our teaching becomes more relevant, compassionate, and holistic.

SHS–ALS Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session
Held at ALS Center, Parada on October 21, 2025

The session focused on two significant topics:

1. Role of Educators in Disaster Risk Reduction and Preparedness
Resource Speaker: Ms. Nancy Sunshine Esplaguera

2. Psychological First Aid
Resource Speaker: Ms. Joan Siva

It was an insightful and enriching session that enhanced educators’ knowledge and preparedness in promoting safety, resilience, and emotional well-being.
