Re: Period for Grade 7 Application - S.Y. 2026–2027

The Valenzuela City School of Mathematics and Science informs all qualified applicants and parents/guardians that the tentative opening of applications for incoming Grade 7 for School Year 2026–2027 will be in January 2026.

This adjustment is due to the ongoing finalization of the Unified Screening Process for all Science High Schools in the National Capital Region (NCR) as initiated by DepEd–NCR. The school is aligning its processes with this regional initiative to ensure a fair, standardized, and efficient selection procedure for all applicants.

Further details and the official schedule will be released once DepEd–NCR issues the final guidelines.

Please note that students listed as Top 1 and 2 who were already announced as Grade 7 passers on April 11, 2025, do not need to come for another interview and should proceed to enrolment as scheduled.

We are pleased to announce the enrollment schedule for School Year 2025–2026.

ENROLLMENT SCHEDULE (for qualified and continuing students of ValMaSci):

🗓️June 3, 2025 (Tuesday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM): Grades 7 & 8
🗓️June 4, 2025 (Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM): Grades 9 & 10
🗓️June 5, 2025 (Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM): Grades 11 & 12
🗓️June 9 – 13, 2025: for late enrollees

📝REQUIREMENTS:
1. For Qualified Grade 7 students (ValMaSci Admission Screening Passers):
✔️Original Progress Report Card (SF9);
✔️PSA Birth Certificate (clear photocopy); and
✔️ must be a passer of ValMaSci Admission Screening for Grade 7 of SY 2025 – 2026 (Official list of passers:

Note: The Batch Top 1 or 2 pupils (Grade 6 of S.Y. 2024 - 2025) from public elementary schools in Valenzuela City who wish to enroll at ValMaSci must present their original certification / endorsement which was sent via email by their School Principal and must be interviewed by the ValMaSci Guidance Officer during enrollment (By virtue of City Ordinance No. 120, s. 2014). 2. For Qualified Grade 11 students:

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 81, s. 2025, VALMASCI will adopt a work-from-home setup on April 16, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN. Office transactions will be suspended on April 17–18, 2025, in observance of Holy Week. Responding to inquiries on social media accounts and via email will also be suspended during these days.

Regular transactions will resume on April 21, 2025.
