In celebration of Women's Month, a unique and inspiring art workshop titled "Celebrating Creativity" was conducted on March 21, specifically designed for women with disabilities.

The workshop was facilitated by Pandayan Bookshop, in collaboration with dedicated Special Education (SPED) teachers, Mam Nicasia Espanol and Sir Gabriel Sinio. The event was made possible with the support of school head, Irene Pantorillo, ESP Head Teacher, Ms. Geraldine Derilo, and AP Head Teacher, Ms. Jesusita Martin.

This innovative workshop aimed to promote inclusivity, empowerment, and self-expression among women with disabilities. Through various art activities, participants were able to tap into their creativity, build confidence, and develop their fine motor skills.

The event was a resounding success, with participants showcasing their artistic talents and taking home their beautiful creations. The workshop not only celebrated the creativity of women with disabilities but also highlighted the importance of providing inclusive opportunities for all.

As we continue to celebrate Women's Month, this initiative serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of society.

In celebration of National Women's Month this March 2025, we invite you to join us in a visible display of solidarity and support for women's empowerment.

The Philippines marks National Women's Month Celebration (NWMC) this March 2025 with the sub theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” reinforcing gender equality and empowerment under the Magna Carta of Women (RA 9710).

To honor the achievements and contributions of women, and to further promote gender equality within our institution, we are launching " " throughout the month of March.

We encourage all teaching and non teaching personnel to wear purple every Wednesday in March. Purple symbolizes justice, dignity, and loyalty, and is a powerful color associated with women's rights.

Let's come together to demonstrate our commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable environment for all.

This March, as the Philippine Commission on Women leads the nation once again in the commemoration of the National Women’s Month, WE call on all Filipinos to take part in this advocacy campaign.

Let us once again honor the immeasurable contributions of women to our nation’s progress. The National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) is more than a yearly tradition – it is a powerful call to action. It is an opportunity to recognize the vital role of women across all sectors and reaffirm our collective commitments to gender equality and women’s empowerment. Progress must not only be imagined but felt, lived, and sustained by all because no one must be left behind.

The 2025 sub-theme, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas” reflects our resolute vision for a nation where every woman—regardless of background or circumstance—thrives. It envisions a Bagong Pilipinas where women fully enjoy their rights, have equal access to opportunities, and live free from gender bias, violence, and discrimination.

Yesterday, Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center witnessed a transformative event as we successfully conducted a Gender and Development (GAD) Seminar. The day was filled with insightful discussions, knowledge sharing, and a collective commitment to advancing gender equality.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed School Head, Mam Irene Pantorillo for her unwavering support and encouragement. Her visionary leadership has been instrumental in making this seminar a reality.😊

This successful workshop serves as a testament to the power of art to bridge barriers and empower women with disabilities.

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of our 3-day seminar held from March 12-14, 2024, commemorating the 20th anniversary of Republic Act 9262, also known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC) Act.

This seminar aimed to educate and empower students, student teachers, and parents on the provisions of RA 9262 and its role in protecting women and children from violence.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the participants , speakers who contributed to the event's success. Thank you Lemon Square , your thoughtfulness not only provided us with a tasty treat but also helped to make the seminar experience even more enjoyable.

We're delighed to announce the success of our "Serbisyo para kay Juana" Women's Day event, held in collaboration with GAD and VMHS Maysan Teachers Multi-purpose Cooperative.

A special thanks to Amway Philippines for providing complimentary facial treatments and makeup tutorials, pampering the attendees. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Kaufman Pharma Inc. for their generous donation of free medicines for teachers, parents, non-teaching personnel, and students.
