📸 LOOK BACK | Brigada Eskwela 2025 Highlights 🛠📚👨👩👧👦
As we recall the successful conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2025, we are reminded of the true essence of bayanihan — volunteers, teachers, parents, and stakeholders working hand in hand to prepare our school for the new academic year.🏫
Our journey was made even more meaningful through our Pagbasa Program, where learners were given a head start through focused reading sessions to strengthen their foundational skills. 📖
We also welcomed our dear parents through the Orientation Program, fostering open communication and shared responsibility in nurturing the learners’ holistic development. 🤝
Thank you to everyone who joined! Together, let’s keep raising the quality of education for every Filipino child. 🇵🇭❤️

《WAVE IT 127 TIMES》
As the sun rises and greets the day, people wake up and open their blinds to let in warm sunlight. But that sunlight can never shine brighter than the smiles that were plastered on Filipinos' faces on that fateful day.
Years ago, our country was filled by darkness. Monsters, disguised as foreigners roamed around to satisfy their own greed.
God, Gold, Glory—the main components of Spain's colonization of the Philippines in 1521. Those monsters, they came and conquered. They took our freedom, used what was ours, and ruined our motherland. Our people, they suffered at the hands of such cruel creatures. But us Filipinos have hearts that burn with passion— we are the children of our flaming sun that will soon rise.
Dark days will never last long, because the light will always find its way back home to us. Marching forward with loud protests, katipuneros worked in secret and hid in caves just to form a plan that will set our country free from the Spaniards.
Sometime in 1898, the Philippine army finally defeated the Spanish army by forming an alliance with Americans. Because of that, Emilio Aguinaldo, one of our national heroes declared our country's independence. They raised our flag high, and sang a mighty march that voiced our protests— our dreams of being free.
That sweet taste of victory was short-lived. We were hit by a shocking revelation— A betrayal. Turns out, America had a deal with Spain— the Treaty of Paris. Made on December 10, 1898, the treaty was made to end the Spanish-American war. The deal was that America would acquire Spain's territories which included our country in exchange for 20 million dollars.
How cruel. Just when we thought we were free, another layer of thick walls barricades us away from true freedom. We've been kept under America's control for 40 years until Tydings McDuffie law was established in 1934, which would transition our country from a US territory to an independent nation.
It went on and on for years, independence day was celebrated on every 4th of July. People smiling, our flag being raised. Freedom.
This continued until Diosdado Macapagal became the 5th president of the Philippines. He then changed the date of our independence using Proclamation No. 28 during 1962. In that decree, it stated that the date must be changed from July 4th to June 12th which was the original date.
Even though majority only celebrates one independence day, our history shows us that there is more. So with this, I hope that we can appreciate every independence day that was proclaimed. Let this 127th celebration of our Independence remind us Filipinos to honor every chapter fight for freedom.
