Nestled in a 1 hectare-wide campus of trees, flowers and greeneries, VCS is proud of its high standard curriculum and its Christian heritage that was started in 1966 by Bishop Rolando and Mrs. VCS started out as Marulas Kindergarten School. It became the Valenzuela Community School in 1973 when the student population grew to include elementary and high school departments. Its name was changed to V
alenzuela Christian School in 1995 but its mission and vision to instill Christian values to its students never changed. VCS offers Pre-school, Kindergarten, Elementary and High School curriculum. Every year, honored high school senior graduates of VCS pass the entrance exams given by the University of the Philippines and other prestigious schools. Alumni of VCS are now doctors, lawyers, educators, corporate professionals, businessmen, engineers and other professionals in their fields here and abroad. VCS offers your child the learning experiences of a lifetime. Our teachers in the Pre-school, Kindergarten and Elementary levels focus on the early developmental stages of a child's cognitive skills in learning basic reading, writing, arithmetic, language, social studies, music, arts, computers and PE. Our high school teachers are highly qualified instructors in mathematics, social and physical sciences, language and arts, music and physical education, computer technology, home economics and community service. Once a week, students congregate in the auditorium to celebrate Christian values and ethics. VCS offers scholarships to the needy (Child Sponsorship Program), to students who excel academically and in sports, families with 3 children enrolled and faculty-related children. Please consult the registrar for more information on scholarships. Our faculty and staff meet everyday after the flag ceremony for devotion before proceeding to meet with the students.
