In line with the official advisory of Mayor Wes Gatchalian, there will be no face-to-face classes on August 6, 2026, Thursday.

This decision was made following consultations with experts from the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office due to the expected heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), which has been intensified by Typhoon Maymay.

Ayan na ang matagal na ninyong inaabangan.
Walang face-to-face classes bukas, Agosto 6. Walang pasok sa lahat ng anatas ng paaralan—mula daycare, kinder, elementary, high school, at kolehiyo. Public at private.

Hindi po ito personal kong desisyon. Kumonsulta po tayo sa ating mga eksperto at sa Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. Inaasahan po ang malalakas na pag-ulan dulot ng habagat na pinaigting ng Bagyong Maymay.

Ingat po tayong lahat. Kung hindi naman kailangang lumabas ng bahay, manatili na lamang po muna sa loob. Patuloy po akong nakamonitor sa lagay ng panahon dito sa Valenzuela City, 24/7. Maraming salamat po, at mag-ingat ang lahat.

Ang Banal na Misa ay pinangunahan ni Rdo. P. Jun Roxas at dinaluhan ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, kawani, at administrasyon ng paaralan bilang pagninilay at pagpupugay sa dakilang tanda ng ating kaligtasan.

Matapos ang Banal na Misa, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang bawat isa na makalapit, makapagbigay-galang, at makahawak sa Banal na Relikya ng Krus, isang natatanging sandali ng panalangin, debosyon, at pagpapanibago ng pananampalataya.

Nawa'y ang Banal na Krus ni Kristo ay patuloy na maging ilaw, lakas, at pag-asa ng bawat isa sa ating paglalakbay bilang mga Kristiyano.

AFTERNOON FACE-TO-FACE CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

Itinaas na sa YELLOW Rainfall Warning ang Metro Manila, kabilang ang Valenzuela City, sa ganap na alas-8:00 ng umaga ngayong araw, Agosto 5, 2026, dulot ng Habagat at Tropical Cyclone Maymay.

Dahil dito, SUSPENDIDO ang PANG-HAPON na FACE-TO-FACE classes sa lahat ng antas (pampubliko at pribado) sa Lungsod ng Valenzuela.

Para sa mga mag-aaral na nakapasok na ngayong umaga, magpapatuloy muna ang klase habang hinihintay ang ligtas na oras ng uwian. Maaari rin silang sunduin nang mas maaga ng kanilang mga magulang o guardians.

Mag-ingat ang lahat at manatiling nakaantabay sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Valenzuela.

The St. Bernadette College of Valenzuela solemnly welcomes the Relic of the True Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a sacred reminder of Christ's redeeming sacrifice and boundless love for humanity.

The Welcoming Rites will take place at the SBCV AVR at 8:00 AM, followed by the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist to be presided by Rev. Fr. Jun Roxas, Parish Priest - Parish of the Holy Cross Valenzuela City

Tomorrow's Sacred Liturgy will likewise commemorate the Feast of the Dedication of the Basilica of Saint Mary Major in Rome, one of the Church's oldest and most revered Marian basilicas, honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Mother of God.

As our school community gathers in prayer and reverence, may this blessed occasion renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and inspire us to embrace the Cross with steadfast faith and devotion.

Last month, our Pre-School to Grade School Department celebrated Nutrition Month by empowering our young learners to embrace healthy eating, active living, and positive lifestyle choices. Every healthy habit learned today lays the foundation for a stronger, smarter, and brighter tomorrow.

This year’s 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲–𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 for S.Y. 2026–2027, held on July 30, 2026, was truly a remarkable celebration of culture, friendship, and unity. This event became a tremendous success because of the dedication, collaboration, and support of everyone who contributed their time, effort, and talents to make this celebration possible.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation goes to all the clubs and organizations who played an important role throughout the event. A special thank you to 𝗘-𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗘 for their electrifying performance, the 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 for showcasing their incredible athletic talents, and the 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 for filling the venue with heartfelt OPM performances that brought joy to everyone. We are equally grateful to 𝗨𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗢 for their invaluable assistance throughout the program.
