SCHOOL ADVISORY: SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES & ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENT

In accordance with the Memorandum Circular No. 131, all face-to-face classes are suspended tomorrow, August 20, 2026, due to the threat of heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Hence, a Alternative Work arrangement for government employees will also be implemented.

Everyone is advised to prioritize safety, stay in a safe place, and remain updated through the school’s official communication channels.

SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT

In view of the cancellation of face-to-face classes in Valenzuela City, and considering the continuous rainfall and flooding in some areas, VALMASCI will implement HINTO as a precautionary safety measure.

This decision prioritizes the safety and well-being of our learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and their families.

Everyone is advised to stay safe, remain indoors whenever possible, and continue monitoring official announcements from DepEd, the City Government, and the school.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 128, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 18, 2026:

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Nasa diskresyon ng bawat paaralan ang pagpapatupad ng angkop na alternative mode of learning matapos ang suspensiyon ng face-to-face classes.
