Students from Kindergarten to Senior High School celebrated the National English Month 2025 with the theme "Empowering Minds Through Reading: Cultivating Literacy for a Brighter Future" on December 1, 2025 at St. Gregory College of Valenzuela.
The event featured performances from both Junior High School and Senior High School students to showcase their interpretative dance and speech choir entries.
The program opened with the National Anthem led by Ms. Laren Nacer and followed by an opening prayer.
Junior High School students presented their interpretative dance performances as their official entries and Senior High School students performed their speech choir presentation as part of the competition.
During the awarding ceremony, Grade 9-Confidence was declared 1st Place for the JHS Interpretative Dance category, Grade 10-Reverence received 2nd Place, and Grade 7-Honesty received 3rd Place for the same category.

In the SHS division, Grade 11-STEM 2 was awarded as the Speech Choir 1st Placer, Grade 11-HUMSS 1 secured 2nd Place, and 11-ABM 2 secured 3rd Place in the SHS Speech Choir category.

After the performances, students were awarded for their achievements in Quiz Bee, Spelling Bee, Radio Broadcasting, and Essay Writing.
The event aimed to promote English literacy and encourage students to use the language effectively in academic and social settings.

Nagwagi ang ibaโt ibang mag-aaral ng St. Gregory College of Valenzuela sa magkakasunod na patimpalak para sa English Month noong Nobyembre 13โ14, 2025, kabilang ang Senior High School Quiz Bee at Junior at Senior High School Spelling Bee, kung saan ipinamalas nila ang husay at kahandaan sa akademikong kompetisyon.
Noong Nobyembre 13, itinanghal na kampeon sa Quiz Bee: Battle of the Brightest ang 11-HUMSS 2 matapos manguna sa clincher round laban sa 11-HUMSS 1 at 11-ABM 1.
Nagtabla ang tatlong pangkat sa hard round na may tig-31 puntos, dahilan upang magsagawa ng tie-breaker. Sa huli, nanguna ang HUMSS 2 na may 36 puntos, sinundan ng HUMSS 1 na may 35, at ABM 1 na may 34.
Ayon sa mga miyembro ng 11-HUMSS 2, hindi nila inaasahan ang panalo dahil kulang umano sila sa paghahanda.
Ayon kay Alessandra Cabaรฑeros, puno man sila ng kaba at kulang sa ensayo, nagbunga pa rin ang kanilang determinasyon. Dagdag ni Audrey Ayubong, nagpasya silang mag-enjoy at sagutin ang kaya nila, habang sinabi ni Carmilla Reyes na mas naging epektibo sila nang i-enjoy ang laban sa kabila ng pressure, dahilan ng sunod-sunod na tamang sagot.
Samantala, noong Nobyembre 14, nagtanghal din ng mga bagong kampeon sa Junior High School Spelling Bee, kung saan nanalo ang Grade 10 โ Reverence.
Sina Gabe Xander F. Limbauan, Migs Daniel F. Mandawe, at Tiara Mei S. Chua ang kumatawan sa kanilang baitang.
Ayon kay Limbauan, labis ang kanyang saya sa kabila ng biglaang paglahok. Si Mandawe naman ay umaming nahirapan sa ilang salita ngunit nakaangat dahil sa paghahanda at suporta ng mga kaklase. Para kay Chua, ipinakita ng karanasan na kahit mahirap, ibinigay ng lahat ang kanilang makakaya.
Sa Senior High School division ng Spelling Bee, itinanghal namang kampeon ang 12-STEM 1, na kinabibilangan nina Earl Inocencio, Meiell Onayan, at Princess Posadas.
Ayon kay Onayan, masinsinang paghahanda ang kanilang ginawa dahil inasahang mahirap ang mga salita, ngunit marami rito ang โmadalas nilang gamitin,โ na nagbigay sa kanila ng kumpiyansa. Dagdag pa niya, ang kanilang tagumpay ay bunga ng โoras ng pag-aaral, fokus, at teamwork.โ
Ang magkakasunod na panalo sa Quiz Bee at Spelling Bee ay patunay ng patuloy na pagsuporta ng St. Gregory College of Valenzuela sa mga programang pang-akademiko, at ng kahusayan ng mga mag-aaral nito sa ibaโt ibang larangan ng talino at kasanayan.

St. Gregory College of Valenzuela (SGCV) joyfully celebrated Teachersโ Day on October 3, 2025 with a program filled with appreciation, laughter, and heartfelt performances dedicated to the schoolโs beloved educators.
The celebration began with preliminaries and the singing of the National Anthem, followed by an opening prayer from Ms. Althiazhia Jecino.
Opening remarks were delivered by Ms. Marie Antoinette Medina, โThis is a moment to recognize the dedication, patience, and passion that our teachers bring into the classroom every single day.,โ she said.
To kick off the festivities, the Culture and Arts Society (CAS) presented an energetic opening production, followed by exciting games such as Rock, Paper, Scissors, and Octopus Race that showcased the perseverance of teachers and students in competitions.
Junior and Senior High School representatives also gave inspiring speeches, expressing their appreciation for the guidance and sacrifices of their teachers.
The highlight of the event was the Teacher Awards, where several teachers were recognized for their dedication and impact.

St. Gregory College of Valenzuela formally concluded the celebration of Buwan ng Wika 2025 on August 22 with the theme โPaglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.โ
The program began with prayer, the singing of the National Anthem, the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn, and Himig Valenzuela, followed by welcome remarks from Principal Maxima G. Carlos.
Performances from Pre-school and Grade 1 students opened the festivities, while Junior and Senior High School learners participated in competitions highlighting the significance of the Filipino language.
The awarding ceremony recognized winners across various categories.
In the Headdress Making Contest, Kindergarten and Pre-school learners displayed creativity with their cultural designs. For Wikaโt Musika (Sayawit Competition), Grade 1โLove earned the top recognition.
In the Poster-Slogan Making Contest, winners were declared in JHS and SHS divisions, led by Justine Claire Conlas (Grade 10), Stephanie Jane Soreta (11-STEM 2), and Jharish Diaz (12-ABM 1).
Grade 10โReverence triumphed in the Tagisan ng Talino, while Dagliang Talumpati winners included Rouge Manzano (Grade 7), JM Rich Acevedo (11-STEM 2), and Marie Antionete Medina (12-STEM 2).
Other victors were Grade 6โPeace for Masining na Pagkukuwento, Grade 8โDiligence, 11-STEM 1, and 12-ABM 1 for Tuklas-Pilipinas Video Presentation, and Grade 7โHonesty, 11-ABM 1, and 12-STEM 2 for Interpretative Dance.
The program ended with closing remarks from Mrs. Julie Ann S. Vela, who said, "Ang ating selebrasyon ay patunay ng ating pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga sa ating wikang Filipino at sa ating kultura."

St. Gregory College of Valenzuela (SGCV) successfully concluded its Nutrition Month 2025 celebration on August 6, 2025 with a culminating program that blended creativity, education, and advocacy for healthy living.
Guided by the theme โFood at Nutrisyon Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan natin!โ the event brought together students from all grade levels through various contests and performances aimed at promoting wellness and sustainability.
The program began with the national anthem led by Ms. Laren Nacar, followed by a solemn prayer led by Althaizhia Jecino.
The welcoming remarks were delivered by the school principal, Mrs. Maxima G. Carlos, who emphasized the importance of instilling nutritional values in students from a young age.
One of the most anticipated parts of the program was the Recycle Nutri Costume Presentation, featuring the youngest learners from Preschool and Kindergarten.
The contest awarded Ozzie Azriel as the champion for Preschool, Isaiah Mallari for Kinder B, and Sheena Quinzel Barde for Kinder A.
The Nutri Jingle Competition drew cheers from the audience as students from the elementary, junior high school, and senior high school departments performed catchy jingles promoting proper nutrition.
Grade 6 Peace was declared the winner for the elementary level, with Grade 3 Friendly placing as first runner-up.
For the junior high school division, Grade 10 Reverence secured the top spot, followed by Grade 8 Diligence as first runner-up and Grade 9 Confidence as second runner-up.
In the senior high school category, Grade 12 ABM 1 emerged as the champion, with Grade 11 HUMSS 1 and Grade 12 STEM 2 earning first and second runner-up honors respectively.
The awarding ceremony also recognized winners from various activities conducted throughout the month.
In the Headdress Competition, Reign Aldrich Demafeiz won for Preschool, Sebastian Levi Samaniego for Kinder A, and Isaiah Mallari again for Kinder B.
For the POSLOG contest, Justine Claire V. Conclus of Grade 10 claimed the title in the JHS division, while Xyza Rhea L. Ricablanca of Grade 12 STEM 2 won in the SHS division.
In the Sandwich Making Contest, Grade 1โs Serene Bagus was named champion. The Salad Making Contest awarded Ni**od Batulan, Paul Gloria, and Mait Paragas of Grade 6 as its winners.
For the Cooking Contest, Grade 8โs George Wein Agustin, Juan Jicaico B. Justado, and Kirsch David V. Gumatin impressed the judges and secured the top spot.
Meanwhile, the team of Ashly Nicolle Bulandres and RJ Marion Galang from Grade 6 triumphed in the always-entertaining Pinoy Henyo competition.
The program was skillfully hosted by Ms. Maria Christina Roco, who served as the master of ceremonies, ensuring the event ran smoothly from start to finish.
Closing remarks were given by Sir Julius, who commended the students for their participation and commitment to this yearโs advocacy.
