𝘼𝙞𝙢 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝, 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙈𝙖𝙎𝙘𝙞 !🌟

Last December 3, 2024, three ValMaScians— Shinna Bernardino, Duke Homer Camon, and Justine Dave Pacle, with their coach, Mrs. Jelly T. Hernaez— were invited to the New World Hotel in Makati for awarding ceremonies after being named among the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 out of 1,000 participants in the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 competition. The theme of the competition was "Solving Local Community Problems and Agricultural Sustainability Using Technology." 🚀⚙️

Congratulations to our young research enthusiast, 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐨 𝐁. 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐨, for being one of the finalists and receiving "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠" award during the recently concluded '𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰' 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

This competition organized by the ᴊᴜɴɪᴏʀ ᴀᴄᴀᴅᴇᴍʏ ᴏꜰ ꜱᴄɪᴇɴᴄᴇꜱ ᴏꜰ ᴜᴋʀᴀɪɴᴇ (𝕁𝔸𝕊𝕌), with their international partners like ℂ𝕠𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕟𝕚𝕔𝕦𝕤 𝔸𝕔𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕞𝕪, highlights the role of satellite images in environmental sciences and climate education. Participation in the said event provided an opportunity for students to create their own research project based on public-free Remote Sensing data, focusing on environmental problems.
