Course Announcement: Interpreting Lamentations for Those Who Suffer

​The Biblical Seminary of the Philippines (BSOP), in partnership with the Asia Graduate School of Theology (AGST), invites you to enroll in an upcoming intensive course: "Lamentations: Interpreting Lamentations for Those Who Suffer."
​This advanced module will be led by Dr. Federico Villanueva. Born out of raw experiences of grief, the book of Lamentations serves as a profound resource for understanding and navigating suffering. The course will thoroughly examine the book's unique poetry, historical context, theology, and canonical structure, bringing ancient wisdom into direct dialogue with contemporary ministry challenges.

IN PHOTOS: Last May 23, 2026, Saturday, the Biblical Seminary of the Philippines (BSOP) family gathered at the BSOP Dining Hall for an evening of warm fellowship, deep gratitude, and celebration at the annual Graduation Banquet.

The banquet served as a beautiful prelude to the Commencement Exercises, offering a space for our graduating students and their families, faculty, staff, Board of Trustees, and distinguished guests to share a meal, reflect on years of academic and spiritual formation, and look forward to the future with joy. Through moving testimonies from our graduates and special presentations by the BSOP Faculty and staff, the evening highlighted God’s steadfast faithfulness throughout their seminary journey.

​We rejoice with our graduates as they stand on the threshold of a new chapter in ministry and service, carrying with them the shared memories, laughter, and encouragement of the BSOP community.
