Hello,

This Sunday, March 23, we are going to visit the elderly Augustinian sisters at Bahay Consuelo.
As promised, a fraction of the proceeds from the Fun Run held last year is intended for the outreach programs.

Our first stop is Bahay Consuelo.
Why?
Aside from Bahay Consuelo as being a part of our high school, the Augustinian sisters are part of our youth.

At higit sa lahat, ang nakakarami sa kanila ay nasa huling yugto na ng buhay. Na ang tanging hiling sa mga pumupunta ay dalasan ang pag-bisita sa kanila.
Di ba ang ganda noon na ang mga taong nasa alaala nila sa ganitong yugto ay tayo na minsan ay naging bahagi ng kanilang buhay?

Though this project is funded by the proceeds of the Fun Run, we welcome any open door of generosity.
In cash or in kind is very much appreciated.
Our presence is as valuable as any kind of present we can give to them.

Everything will be fine on Sunday.
The weather is just testing our resiliency and determination.
And everything will be fine too sa lahat ng naapektuhan ng di magandang panahon.

Here's our parking map para sa Sunday.
One-sided parking lang.
Yung mga streets na may P ay pwede mag-park.
May mga baranggay tanod to check and guide us.

We would like to remind everyone that parking is allowed only on the following streets listed below. Please avoid parking on any streets not included in this announcement to prevent clamping.

Additionally, do not park in driveways, and ensure there is a minimum of 3 meters of space left for vehicles making turns in the street.

Parking is permitted from 3:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Please note that we are not responsible for any incidents that may occur to your vehicles while parked.

Here are some contingency plans for our fun run in case it rains:

Shorten the Route: If the rain is light and the event continues, we will consider shortening the route for safety and comfort.

Rain Gear for Participants: Suggest participants bring their own, along with waterproof bags for valuables.

Safety First: We will have volunteers monitoring the route for slippery spots, and inform participants to slow down or walk in risky areas.

Delay Start Time:
If it’s just a passing shower, we will consider delaying the start time by 30-60 minutes.

Clear Communication: We will have a system (text, email, or social media) in place to update participants about the status of the event, especially for weather-related changes.

We will all move forward, kahit hindi tayo water-proof.
