Today, we attended an eye-opening HIV & AIDS seminar that gave us real facts, real awareness, and real understanding.
From learning how HIV is transmitted to debunking the biggest myths and fighting the stigma, every topic pushed us to think, be informed, and stay responsible. 💯🧠

Safety First: Malinta Senior High Teams Up with Red Cross Youth for Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

Participating in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on November 6, 2025, at exactly 9:00 a.m., Malinta National High School - Senior High School students promptly evacuated along Sta. Rita St. This important drill helped strengthen disaster preparedness by practicing swift and orderly evacuation, ensuring the safety and readiness of everyone. Remember to always Drop, Cover, and Hold On—because in emergency, every second counts!

🧼💧 RCY Malinta Senior High joins Global Handwashing Day! 🌍🩸

Today, the Red Cross Youth Council – Malinta Senior High School proudly participated in the celebration of Global Handwashing Day, reminding everyone that clean hands save lives! 🙌✨

Proper handwashing is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs and illnesses. Let’s make it a daily habit! 💪

🩸 Here are the 9 Steps of Proper Handwashing:
1️⃣ Wet your hands with clean, running water.
2️⃣ Apply enough soap to cover all surfaces.
3️⃣ Rub your palms together.
4️⃣ Rub the back of each hand.
5️⃣ Interlace fingers and clean between them.
6️⃣ Clean the back of your fingers and nails.
7️⃣ Rub your thumbs in a rotating manner.
8️⃣ Clean your fingertips and nails with circular motions.
9️⃣ Rinse thoroughly and dry your hands with a clean towel or tissue.

🚨 RCY Reminder: Wash your hands regularly — before eating, after using the restroom, after touching shared surfaces, and especially during flu season.
