Sa bisa ng Republic Act 9256, ang araw na ito ay isang 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘯𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺 sa buong bansa upang alalahanin ang isang mahalagang yugto na humubog sa ating kasaysayan bilang demokratikong bansa.

| UPCAT 2027 DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED! ‼️

The University of the Philippines (UP) has extended the deadline for submission of forms and grades for Academic Year 2027-2028.

The new deadline is set on September 7, 2026.

Make sure to submit your Form 1 with updated campus and degree program choices, Form 2B with complete encoded grades, your hard copy of Certified True Copy of Form 137 with grades from Grades 8 to 11, and have your Grade 12 school confirm you through the provided portal for Form 2A on or before the extended deadline.

Failure to submit the abovementioned forms and documents will result in non-processing of your UPCAT 2027 application.

| HEADS UP, ASPIRING GRAB SCHOLARS! ✍️

Grab Philippines is set to release the results for the Grab Merit-Based Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2026-2027 today, August 20, 2026.

According to their website, a list of new scholars will be released on their website within the said date. As of writing, the results are yet to be announced by Grab.

Two scholarships are set to open today, while one college admission and one scholarship application are also set to close today, August 17, 2026.

Get your requirements ready, and make sure to submit your applications before it closes tonight at 11:59 pm.

For Ateneo college applicants, the deadline set today is only for account creation and payment. Your application will proceed as long as you paid the application fee until later tonight.

| ADMU DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED! 🙏

Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) has extended the deadline for college applications for Academic Year 2027-2028.

The new deadline is now set on August 24, 2026. This deadline is specifically for account creation and payment of application fee only.

For those applicants, who are still pending confirmation or review to their proof of payment, documentary requirements, and recommendation forms may still proceed beyond the new deadline.
