As of 8:00 AM today, 04 May 2026, a Low Pressure area (LPA 05a) is being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is "UNLIKELY" to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, another Low Pressure area (LPA 05b) is being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). It has a "MEDIUM" potential to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

According to PAGASA, a Thunderstorm Watch is currently in effect over the Greater Metro Manila Area, including Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite. Thunderstorms are more likely to develop within the next 12 hours, bringing possible heavy rain, lightning, and strong winds in some areas. Everyone is advised to stay alert and continue monitoring official weather updates as conditions may change quickly.
At the same time, the heat index is expected to reach up to 40ยฐC, which is considered a dangerous level of heat stress. Prolonged exposure to outdoor heat may cause dehydration, dizziness, or heat-related illnesses, so it is strongly advised to limit outdoor activities, stay hydrated, and seek shade or cooler places whenever possible.

This two-day training equipped the volunteers with essential rope access techniques and rescue skills.
Through a series of hands-on exercises and guided demonstrations, the volunteers from ๐๐๐-๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ก ๐ were able to apply essential techniques in controlled yet realistic scenarios. These activities strengthened not only their technical skills but also their coordination, decision-making, and readiness in responding to emergencies in elevated environments.
