📣E-Booklat: Crafting Digital Dreams, One Page at a Time 📣

GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS FOR E- BOOKLAT CONTEST

1. The contest is open for all students of Malanday National High School for school year 2022-2023.
2. Only one contestant per entry is allowed to participate.
3. Only one story piece will be presented in electronic book. It can be in English or Tagalog stories.
The digital book must be featured in a Power point/ Canva presentation. At the end of the story must mention the title, author, illustrator and publisher of the book.
4. The story must be shortened and enjoyable to read.
6. The text should be appropriate to the reading and vocabulary level of the learners.
7. Computer-generated background is allowed.
8. Own animation and graphics are allowed.
9. This will be uploaded by the contestant via MESSAGE in Reading Club Page on Facebook.
10. Judge’s decision is final and irrevocable.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
25% - Creativity and visual presentation
20% - Text variations and projection
20% - Content and logical presentation of events
25% - shows Moral values and eliciting emotions and expressions of the readers
10% - Overall impact
100% - Total

CONTEST SCHEDULE / TIMELINE

Entries must be submitted by a representative until August 17, 2023 (11:00 PM) complete with the name and contact number of the Person. The judging of entries will be on August 18,2023 .

AWARD
There will be two (2) winners of this contest in JHS and SHS depeartment who will receive the following:
1st Prize – Php 300 and certificate

Winning entries will be posted on Reading Club page

📣READ-A-TOK: Where Stories Come to Life in 60 Seconds📣

GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS FOR STORYTELLING CONTEST or READ-A-TOK.
1. The contest is open for all students of Malanday National High School for school year 2022-2023.
2. Only one contestant per entry is allowed to participate.
3. Only one story piece will be performed by the participants. It can be in English or Tagalog stories.
The book must be featured in the video. The storyteller must mention the title, author, illustrator and publisher of the book.
4. The storytelling performance shall be recorded and saved in a mp4 format (video).
5. The video shall be at least 1 minute length. For every 30 seconds excess time, 1 point shall be deducted from the total score.
6. Appropriate attire/costume with moral and ethical standard is required.
7. Computer-generated background is allowed.
8. Props are allowed.
9. The video entry will be sent in this page via MESSAGE.
10. Judge’s decision is final and irrevocable.

25% - Skills and eliciting emotions and expressions of the character played
