This first month of the Year, join us for our very own 𝐭𝐰𝐨-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐋𝐕 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. As we embark on the new chapter of our lives, let's gather to save lives—be a volunteer blood donor who gives miracles to others, your friends and family.

Be someone's hero by donating your blood that can save lives on 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 24 & 25 (𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲) at 𝐏𝐋𝐕 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬, 𝐂𝐎𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 from 8:00 𝐀𝐌 - 3:00 𝐏𝐌.

𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙗𝙚 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜:

a. Must be in good health.
b. The minimum required weight is 50 kgs. for first timer and regular donors.
c. 16-65 years old (Probable 16 to 17 years old donors must have parental consent).
d. Must qualify after the in-house donor assessment and physical examination.

𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗦
1. It can lessen the risk of heart attack and cancer
2. It can burn calories
3. It can exercise your bone marrows
4. You will know your blood type

𝗗𝗢'𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗧'𝗦

𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚:
1. Have at least 5 hrs. of sleep
2. Drink plenty of water at least 10-15 mins prior to donation
3. No alcohol intake 24 hrs before
4. No cigarette smoking 2 hrs before
5. No open wounds
6. No antibiotics were taken
7. No cough and colds on the day of donation
8. Eat a heavy meal at least 3 hrs prior to donation (preferably rice, avoid eating fatty food)
9. Reveal any tattoo or body piercing.
10. Be honest about existing medical conditions, previous illnesses, or medications.
11. Disclose any travel or contact with a person who travels in places with confirmed Coronavirus infection.

𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚:
1. Rest for 5-10 minutes
2. No strenuous activities
3. Drink plenty of water
4. Don’t drink caffeinated drinks, pineapple juice, and teas

𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:
- Voluntary blood donors who are not yet vaccinated may donate their blood.
- Prospective blood donors who were vaccinated can donate their blood if there are no vaccine-related symptoms.

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘:
𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗟𝗩𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦:
PLV – Students must ensure they don’t have classes during their participation in the Mass Blood Donation. Moreover, eligible students are given 10 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 per blood donation. Make sure to bring your 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 for Social Contract validation and credit.

𝗡𝗢𝗡 - 𝗣𝗟𝗩𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦:
- Donors must bring a government valid ID.
