𝗖𝗦𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗫𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗦𝗚 𝗟𝗔𝗪 𝗢𝗙 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

On 17 August 2026, the President of the Central Student Government, the Honorable Adriel Rei Arellano Aurestila, officially signed the Presidential Appointments Act 2026 (Act No. 6, 2026) into law, making it the sixth law enacted by the Central Student Government in 2026 and the third Act signed during his administration.

The Presidential Appointments Act 2026 provides for the confirmation by the House of Student Representatives of presidential appointments requiring its advice and consent, establishing procedures for nominations, provisional appointments, referrals to the Committee on Appointments, and House consideration of presidential appointments.

𝗖𝗦𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗙𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗦𝗚 𝗟𝗔𝗪 𝗢𝗙 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

On 17 August 2026, the President of the Central Student Government, the Honorable Adriel Rei Arellano Aurestila, officially signed the Budget and Impoundment Control Act 2026 (Act No. 5, 2026) into law, making it the fifth law enacted by the Central Student Government in 2026 and the second Act signed during his administration.

The Budget and Impoundment Control Act 2026 strengthens the budget system of the Central Student Government and provides controls over the impoundment of funds by the executive branch, establishing a legal framework for budget preparation, appropriation, ex*****on, and financial accountability.
