Bagontaas Adventist Elementary School

Bagontaas Adventist Elementary School BAGONTAAS ADVENTIST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is a private sectarian institution (Seventh-day Adventist Church). Sec date approval - August 8, 2013.

This school started in the year 1947 and offered only 4 grade levels with a name BUKLA. The first school building was made of cut and flattened metal barrels. In 1949, the school building was changed into a grass and bamboo structure. by the year 1960, the school was rebuild again this time with materials using galvanized roofing and good sturdy lumber. The school building was made into two story building and is sill the same building up to the present with some renovations. The reason why the school was named BUKLA is because the church who organized it first cannot support alone. So the Bukidnon Laymen's Association (BUKLA) was organized. However, as per advice of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), the School Board decided to change the school name from Bukidnon Laymen's Association (BUKLA) to Bagontaas Adventist Elementary School (BAES).
