​Please be informed that there are NO CLASSES and NO OFFICE WORK today, Monday, December 8, 2025.
​This suspension is pursuant to Proclamation No. 727, s. 2024, declaring the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary a Special (Non-Working) Day nationwide.
​All activities will resume on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

Look around you. This is not just a field or a court; it is an arena where character is forged and legends are made. For this 2 days, we set aside our PACEs, but not our lessons. We exchange the learning center for the playing field to embrace the most fundamental lessons of all: discipline, resilience, and unity.

You are the Knights—you represent strength, honor, and courage. Compete fiercely! Give every single game everything you have. But remember the spirit of the HGCA: compete with honor, win with humility, and lose with grace.

Let the cheering be thunderous, let the friendship be unbreakable, and let the sportsmanship shine brighter than any trophy.

So, let us stand together—students, student coaches, and staff—and declare this Sports Fest not just a series of games, but a celebration of the extraordinary spirit of the HGCA community!

Resumption of face to face classes.

RESUMPTION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS

Pursuant to the latest evaluation and recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), and upon determination that weather conditions within the City of Valencia have substantially improved, the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private, is hereby LIFTED effective 25 November 2025 (Tuesday).

Accordingly, all educational institutions are directed to resume regular in-person classes on the aforementioned date. School heads are further instructed to undertake the necessary inspection of school facilities to ensure readiness prior to the resumption of classes.

Compliance with established disaster-risk reduction protocols shall likewise be strictly observed.

The public is advised to remain vigilant and to continue monitoring official issuances for further directives, advisories, or developments.

👉Please be advised of the following activities and schedule regarding the upcoming HGCA Sports Fest:

📅 Final Practice: All HGCA students are required to attend the final practice session scheduled for tomorrow at 8am Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

🏆 HGCA Sports Fest: The official Sports Fest event will commence on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 8:00 AM.

👕 T-shirt Distribution: Sports Fest T-shirts will be distributed tomorrow, Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

Note: The cost for the official Sports Fest T-shirt is Php 100.00 (One Hundred Pesos only). Please ensure you bring the exact amount.

​Classes Resume Tomorrow & Sports Elimination Rounds Begin!

👉​ All regular classes for HGCA will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, 2025. All students and faculty are expected to be present.

👉​ Sports Elimination Rounds: The Elimination Rounds for all games leading up to the main sports events will commence tomorrow at 2pm, Tuesday, November 11, 2025
​These elimination rounds are crucial for selecting the final participants for the main HGCA Sports Competition scheduled for November 20 and 21, 2025.

👉​ Participants: All students participating in any sport must report to their respective coaches/game coordinators for their elimination schedules and venues.

🥰​ We look forward to a full resumption of academic activities and the beginning of an exciting sports season. Let's show our school spirit, HGCA!

ANNOUNCEMENT!!
In compliance with the Public Advisory from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Valencia City, Bukidnon, regarding the inclement weather brought about by Typhoon Uwan (International Name: Fung-Wong), this institution is hereby issuing the following directive to ensure the safety and well-being of our academic community:
​Face-to-Face classes in all levels at HGCA are officially SUSPENDED effective Monday, November 10, 2025 until further notice.
​All academic activities shall immediately shift to ONLINE LEARNING MODES as advised by the LGU advisory. Please coordinate with your respective teachers for the specific online learning (PACEs) scheme to be implemented.
​All faculty and staff are advised to work from home unless otherwise directed by the administration for essential on-site operations.
​This decision is made proactively following the LGU's precautionary measures due to the threat of heavy rainfall, potential flooding, and landslides in the area.
​We urge everyone to remain safe, monitor official weather updates, and follow the instructions of local authorities. Further announcements regarding the resumption of face-to-face classes will be made through our official channels once the situation has normalized.
