The International Journal of Research on Multidisciplinary Studies (IJROMS) proudly announces the appointment of Ricardo F. Uy Jr. LPT, MSc. PhD (CAR) as Peer Reviewer of the journal. He will serve in the fields of Science Education, Biological Science, and Social Orientation and Community Involvement, contributing his expertise to advancing rigorous, ethical, and high-quality multidisciplinary research.

Dr. Uy is currently a Professor 3 and Extension Director at Philippine College Foundation, where he contributes to instruction, research, and community extension. His professional experience includes serving as Professor III and Extension Director at the institution from 2022 to 2026. His research-related competencies include research skills, communication, leadership, innovation, and curriculum planning.

He holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in General Science, graduated Cum Laude in 2019 from Central Mindanao University, where he was a DOST Scholar. He completed his Master of Science in General Science Education in 2022 as a DOST-STRAND Scholar and has completed the academic requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education-Biology at Central Mindanao University.

His research and academic expertise encompasses science education, biological science, research methodology, educational innovation, curriculum planning, and community extension. His professional engagement includes research evaluation, research presentation, resource speaking, and participation in academic and scientific conferences.

His scholarly work includes published research on STEAM in early childhood education, community empowerment through education, needs-based community extension frameworks, sustainable extension programs, Earth Science learning, student academic performance, chemistry learning, and other education-related topics. His listed publications include works with DOI records as well as research works available through ResearchGate.

His research engagement has also included serving as a Research Evaluator, Research Presenter, Resource Speaker, and academic conference participant in various local, national, and international research and education events, including activities involving Central Mindanao University, Cebu Normal University, the University of the Philippines Los Baños, and other academic organizations.

Through his academic preparation, professional experience, extensive research publication record, research evaluation, presentation, and community extension engagement, RICARDO F. UY JR. LPT, MSc. PhD (CAR) brings valuable expertise to the IJROMS peer-review community and contributes to the journal’s pursuit of scholarly quality and research excellence.

As a Peer Reviewer of IJROMS, RICARDO F. UY JR. LPT, MSc. PhD (CAR) will contribute to maintaining the journal's commitment to academic integrity, research excellence, and scholarly publication while supporting its mission of Bridging Disciplines, Advancing Knowledge.

The Philippine College Foundation, Inc. (PCFI), in partnership with the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Valencia City Chapter, successfully conducted a Book Distribution and Storytelling Activity for the learners of Salubsob Integrated School through the outreach and reading program.

Representing PCFI was Ms. Hyster Prinn Jose, Extension Coordinator of the Basic Education Department, who joined PYAP in promoting literacy and a love for reading among the students. Through the donation of books and engaging storytelling sessions, the activity brought smiles, learning opportunities, and inspiration to young learners.

PCFI remains committed to extending educational support beyond the classroom and fostering meaningful community partnerships that empower the next generation.

The Philippine College Foundation (PCF) marked a significant achievement as it successfully concluded the Level I Formal Visit for accreditation conducted by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation on April 16–17, 2026. The evaluation covered three key academic programs: 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, and 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙢𝙖𝙟𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩.

The two-day assessment highlighted the institution’s commitment to quality education and continuous improvement. Accreditors provided notably positive feedback across several critical areas, including Faculty, Instruction, Laboratories, Library, Research, Extension and Innovation, Physical Plant and Facilities, Student Services, and Administration. These commendations reflect the institution’s readiness to meet national and international standards of academic excellence.

The results of the accreditation visit are expected to be released promptly, as the submitted documents and supporting evidence were described as comprehensive and substantial. This development signals a strong likelihood of favorable outcomes for the institution’s programs.

More than just a procedural evaluation, the accreditation visit stands as a testament to PCF’s enduring mission of service and its pursuit of academic excellence. The process showcased not only the institution’s compliance with standards but also its dedication to fostering a culture of quality and accountability.

The success of the Level I Formal Visit was made possible through the collective efforts of the administration, deans, program chairpersons, faculty, staff, and students. Leading the initiative was Quality Assurance Center Director Sir Cherel L. Pagonzaga, alongside School President Dr. Charmaine P. Pagonzaga, Vice President for Administration Sir George C. Patron, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Kert Lean N. Cabadonga, Human Resource Management Director Ms. Frenchelle Dawn A. Tangkilan, and the PCF PACUCOA Task Force.

Their unified leadership and unwavering support played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the accreditation process. The event underscored the institution’s strong administrative backing for quality assurance initiatives and its strategic direction toward institutional growth.

As PCF awaits the official results, the academic community remains optimistic that this milestone will further strengthen the institution’s reputation as a center for excellence and a catalyst for transformative education.
