As I officially close this unforgettable term, I want to take a moment to reflect, appreciate, and express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has been a part of my journey as your COLASCO President for the Academic Year 2024–2025.
Serving the College of Liberal Arts Student Council (COLASCO) has been a true honor, a responsibility that challenged me, shaped me, and taught me lessons I will carry for a lifetime.
Special Thanks to the Pillars Behind Our Success
First and foremost, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to our Program Head, Ma’am Leah T. Orizal. Thank you, Ma’am, for believing in me, for your endless support, and for entrusting me with the opportunity to lead this department. Your guidance and trust gave me the strength to move forward in times of uncertainty. I am truly grateful for your leadership and wisdom.
To Sir Ely, Sir De Dios, Ma’am Gwen, and all the office staff, thank you for being the silent forces behind our activities, programs, and responsibilities. Your support, patience, and encouragement helped us navigate through the busiest and most difficult times. You are truly the backbone of our organization, and we owe you so much.
To My COLASCO Family, Thank You for Standing Beside Me
To my fellow COLASCO officers for A.Y. 2024–2025, this journey wouldn’t have been possible without your dedication, teamwork, and sacrifices. We worked through late nights, rushed preparations, and unexpected challenges but we did it together. I’m proud to have stood beside such passionate and hardworking.
I want to give special thanks to;
Jean Joy, Kesh, and Yolly, thank you for being my one call away editors and my right hands during times of rush. Even at midnight, you would still come to help decorate and make sure everything was prepared for our events. Even when you were hungry or extremely tired, you still showed up and gave your best for the sake of our department. Thank you so much, guys. Ate jovy Improgo, Kristal Barbosa, Josua Deconlay, Angelo ate Algene, Alonzo, Yane, te Dooren Palma – our new COLASCO President for A.Y. 2025–2026, Nguho, Bulilan thank you, and to the rest of our COLASCO officers whom I may not have mentioned by name your efforts and contributions will never be forgotten. Each one of you played a crucial role in everything we achieved. You are valued, appreciated, and remembered.
To the Students Who Believed in Us
To all the students who supported, trusted, and walked with us, thank you so much. Your faith in us as student leaders made the responsibilities lighter. Your presence in our activities and your kind words gave us purpose. We existed because of your trust, and for that, I am forever grateful.
To the newly elected officers, congratulations and welcome to a new chapter of leadership and service! This is not an easy path, but it is one of the most meaningful. You are now the voice and hands of the department. You carry not just the title but the heart and soul of what COLASCO stands for.
We, your former officers, may have had our shortcomings, but we’re hopeful that you’ll build on what we started. May you serve with sincerity, lead with humility, and act with courage. Always choose to lead by example, not by power.
May your term be full of successful events, meaningful partnerships, and unforgettable moments. May you build bridges, lift others, and grow not only as leaders, but as individuals.
This position has been a huge part of my personal growth. I’ve had moments of joy, stress, doubt, and pride. I’ve made mistakes but I’ve learned from them. I’ve had wins, and I’ve celebrated them with the people around me. Being COLASCO President was never about being perfect. It was about showing up, stepping up, and standing strong even when no one is watching.
AND WITH THAT
This is your COLASCO President 2024-2025
NIESEHLL RACHO AVILA
now officially signing off.
Thank you, College of Liberal Arts. Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for this journey. 💙
