Lurugan Elementary School successfully participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill yesterday, strengthening the preparedness and awareness of our learners and personnel in times of emergencies. A short lecture on safety measures and proper emergency response was also conducted to equip everyone with essential knowledge and skills.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Barangay Officials and emergency responders for their quick response and support, especially the deployment of emergency vehicles during the drill. Your commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community is truly appreciated.

Together, we build a safer, more prepared, and more resilient school community.

The school we enjoy today began as a dream held by our Senior Citizens. It is an honor to see them still actively playing their part in Brigada Eskwela.

As Lurugan ES concludes the Summer Reading Program, it became a meaningful and engaging experience that helped learners sustain and strengthen their reading habits during the break. Students showed noticeable improvement in reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. It was rewarding to see every participant grow, participate actively in discussions, and complete their reading goals. This experience has laid a strong foundation for their continued learning and success in the coming school year.

Lurugan Elementary School proudly celebrates the successful opening day of Brigada Eskwela 2026 through the collective efforts and unwavering support of our dedicated community.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our Schools Division Supervisor Sir Dennis C. Caballes our School Principal Sir Junar S. Rosalita and Assistant School Principal Joemar A. Singayao, teaching and non-teaching personnel, parents, stakeholders, and volunteers who generously shared their time, effort, and resources to prepare our school for another productive school year.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our SPTA Officers and SELG Officers together with our ever supportive Punong Barangay Marlon M. Librando and the entire Barangay Council for their active participation and commitment to education.

Special thanks as well to our active TUPAD Coordinator Benshong Agbalog together with the 4P’s members for the invaluable support extended to our school community.
