INSET 2026 | DAY 1

Strengthening Professional Practice Through Meaningful Learning

Barobo Integrated School successfully commenced Day 1 of the In-Service Training (INSET) 2026, providing teachers with a meaningful avenue for professional learning, collaboration, and reflection.

The session was lead by our esteemed School Head III, Jovyhope P. Salceda, whose engaging and interactive approach transformed the session into a dynamic learning experience. Through collaborative and insightful discussions, and meaningful reflections, participants were encouraged to actively engage, share experiences, and gain valuable insights that can be translated into effective practice.

BAROBO INTEGRATED SCHOOL INTRAMURALS 2026

Where passion runs, teamwork thrives, and champions rise.

The Barobo Integrated School Intramurals 2026 officially opened today, September 7, with a Fun Run that set the tone for days of sportsmanship, camaraderie, discipline, and healthy competition.

The opening program featured the different competing houses:

House of Grade 4
House of Grade 5
House of Grade 6
Green Raptors
Blue Sharks
Yellow Phoenix
Red Dragons

Seven houses, one shared purpose: celebrating every learner's talents and sportsmanship while strengthening unity in the Barobo IS community.

The houses showed off their spirited yells, followed by the Athlete's Oath, a reminder that sportsmanship means discipline, respect, fairness, perseverance, and integrity.

School Principal Ma'am Jovyhope P. Salceda encouraged learners and athletes to give their best, embrace every challenge, and value the lessons sports teach on and off the field.

A highlight of the ceremony was the lighting of the Intramurals Torch by our Palarong Pambansa players:

Aiken Reposilo
Dave Dayday
Stephen Llagas
Ivan Peñaflor
Khen Xian Lauga

Their journey inspires our learners and makes the whole Barobo IS community proud.

With the Games declared open by our School Head, the field came alive with Larong Pinoy events—Sack Race, Tug of War, Kadang-Kadang, Chinese Garter—plus Athletics competitions.

And this is only the beginning.

May every competition strengthen friendships, every challenge build character, and every achievement remind learners what determination and teamwork can accomplish.

At Barobo IS, the true spirit of sports lies not just in winning, but in competing with courage and integrity, and celebrating together as one community.

Let the games continue, and may every learner create memories that last beyond the final whistle.

BAROBO INTEGRATED SCHOOL WOULD NOT BE WHERE IT IS TODAY WITHOUT ITS STAKEHOLDERS!

Last August 26, 2026, Barobo Integrated School gratefully received a new classroom building from Barangay Barobo, headed by our Barangay Captain, Hon. Mary Jane Raras. True to their commitment to making Barobo a progressive, adaptive, and learner-centered community, they donated one classroom building to the school to be used by our Senior High School students (Grade 11).

With this new facility, our students now have a more conducive place to learn with two gender-segregated comfort rooms, jalousie windows for proper ventilation, and a ramp to ensure accessibility for learners with special needs.

This meaningful gift is a testament to the strong partnership between Barangay Barobo and Barobo Integrated School, and a clear reflection of the barangay's dedication to providing quality education for every Baroboanon youth. The school administration headed by Ma'am Jovy hope Salceda, faculty, and students extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Mary Jane Raras and the entire Barangay Council for this generous and lasting investment in the future of our learners.

Truly, it takes a whole community to build a school — and Barobo Integrated School is grateful to have stakeholders who never stop giving. 🙏🏫
