Pursuant to Republic Act No. 12039, September 1 of every year is hereby declared as a special non-working holiday in the Province of Bukidnon to be known as "Araw ng Bukidnon," in commemoration of its foundation anniversary.

LGU Offices are closed on September 1, 2025 (Monday), except for those offices whose functions include delivery of basic and health services, preparedness response to disasters and calamities, and other necessary operations/services.

Further, all Offices and/or Establishment which will be closed on the said date are requested to inform their client to avoid confusion and inconvenience. Offices providing frontline services should post readable notice/announcement on their respective bulletin boards or front/entrance doors.
