The City Government of Valencia informs the public that the suspension of face-to-face classes at all levels, both public and private, remains in effect, in accordance with the previously issued advisory based on the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

The recommendation remains in place as most barangays in the city continue to experience moderate rainfall, making roads and travel routes to schools potentially slippery and unsafe. The CDRRMO also continues to monitor river systems and landslide-prone areas.

During the suspension, schools are encouraged to implement appropriate alternative teaching and learning strategies.

The suspension shall remain in effect until otherwise lifted by the City Government of Valencia through an official advisory.

Parents, students, and school officials are advised to continue monitoring the official communication channels of the City Government of Valencia for further announcements and updates.
