Lilingayon Central School ALS Center was honored by the visit of our Education Program Supervisor Sir Jourven Okit, who took time to personally engage with our ALS Junior High School learners through a one-on-one reading session.
The activity provided an opportunity to monitor the learnersโ reading levels, identify their strengths and areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback and recommendations to the ALS adviser for the continuous enhancement of reading interventions and learner support.

Highlights | Division of Valencia City ALS 19th Graduation and Completion Ceremony
โOur stories are not found in traditional timelines. We are the ones who had to pause. We are the ones who had to work during the day and study at night. Some of us are parents who balanced activities and babies, some of us are youth who thought our second chances had already run outโ.
โBut the Alternative Learning System didn't just give us a second chance, it gave us a brand new lifeโ.
โWe are no longer the dropouts, the left-behind, or the forgotten. Today, we are officially graduates and completersโ

June 08, 2026 | First Day of Classes
A PROMISING START TO SY 2026โ2027 OF LILINGAYON CENTRAL SCHOOL and ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM
Today marked the successful opening of classes and the beginning of another exciting school year at Lilingayon Central School.
The day commenced with the First Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by the introduction of our dedicated Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel, led by our School Principal, Maโam Elaine G. Rosalita. We were also honored by the presence of our Public Schools District Supervisor, Sir Dennis Caballes, whose support and encouragement inspired both learners and educators.
Despite the unexpected earthquake that resulted in the suspension of classes, the Alternative Learning System (ALS) successfully conducted its scheduled orientation before the suspension announcement was made. Through the collective efforts of the ALS Teachers and Community ALS Implementers of District 8, learners were able to participate in orientation sessions and meaningful psychosocial activities that promoted preparedness, resilience, and a positive learning environment.
This first day demonstrated the strength, commitment, and unity of our school community. Challenges may arise, but our dedication to providing quality education remains unwavering.
Together, we begin another year of learning, growth, and hope.
Be with us. Be with ALS.
