LOOK: Buenavista NHS Participates in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 🛘🚨

Buenavista National High School successfully conducted and participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) as part of its commitment to promoting disaster preparedness and ensuring the safety of learners and personnel. The drill was conducted during the Instructional Block for Grades 7–9 on June 17, 2026, and for Grades 10–12 on June 18, 2026.

Guided by the school's Calamity, Rescue, Emergency, Evacuation, and Disaster (CREED) Brigade, headed by Principal I and Chief Marshal Sir Erwin Funelas and SDRRM Coordinator Bernardo Irinco, students, teachers, and staff actively participated in the simulation. The different response teams—Fire, Rescue, Evacuation, Medical, Communication, Transportation, and Room Marshals—worked together to ensure the orderly and efficient ex*****on of the drill.

The activity highlighted the importance of practicing the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure and reinforced awareness of proper evacuation protocols during emergencies. Through regular drills such as the NSED, Buenavista NHS continues to strengthen its culture of preparedness, resilience, and safety for the entire school community.

With the theme “Reading as a Bridge for a Future Full of Hope,” Buenavista National High School successfully conducted the ARAL Summer Reading Closing Program 2026 on June 02, 2026, at 1:00 PM held at the BNHS Function Hall.

The program highlighted the presentation of the ARAL Summer Reading Accomplishment Report, inspiring testimonies and sharing of experiences from learners, parents, tutors, and volunteer teachers, as well as the awarding and recognition of learners, tutors, and supportive parents.

This meaningful event celebrated the dedication, perseverance, and progress of our ARAL learners together with the unwavering support of teachers, volunteers, parents, and stakeholders who became partners in promoting literacy and learning recovery.

Buenavista National High School proudly recognizes and celebrates the remarkable journey of our BNHS Lady Aces, who represented Region V – Bicol Vulcans in the Basketball Secondary Girls category of the Palarong Pambansa 2026.🏀❤️

The team concluded their campaign on a high note with a hard-fought victory against Region IV-B MIMAROPA, showcasing determination, teamwork, and the true spirit of sportsmanship. While they may not have brought home a medal, their achievement goes far beyond rankings and awards.

📢 BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 KICK-OFF MOTORCADE 🚗🏍️💙

LOOK: Buenavista National High School officially launched Brigada Eskwela 2026 through a motorcade participated in by teachers, learners, stakeholders, and community partners today (June 1, 2026). The activity aimed to raise public awareness and encourage community involvement in preparing the school for the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

The motorcade showcased the spirit of bayanihan as it traveled through the different barangays, inviting everyone to take part in creating a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for all BNHS learners.

Buenavista National High School will conduct the Classification Test for Incoming Grade 11 learners under the Senior High School program on May 29, 2026 at the BNHS SHS Building. This activity aims to assess learners’ readiness and help determine appropriate class placement for the incoming school year. ✨

🕘 Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
🕐 Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

📝 What to Bring:
