Yesterday morning, June 19, our school was honored to welcome the Regional Monitoring Team from the Department of Education Region I composed of Ma’am Mary Ann Grace B. Dulay (CLMD), Sir Johnson P. Sunga (CLMD), Sir Roderick R. Castillo (FTAD), and Ma’am Leah L. Olua (PPRD) as part of the Regional Monitoring of School Implementation of the Opening of Classes.

The monitoring visit aimed to assess the school's readiness for the opening of classes, monitor the implementation of the Opening Block activities, and gather feedback from stakeholders regarding the implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar. Through classroom observations, school facility inspections, and meaningful conversations with school personnel and stakeholders, the team gained valuable insights into the school's preparations and initial implementation efforts.

The activity also provided an opportunity to identify implementation concerns, challenges, and best practices that may contribute to the continuous improvement of school operations. In addition, the team extended technical assistance and recommendations to support the school in ensuring a smooth, effective, and learner-centered opening of classes.

We sincerely thank Ma’am Mary Ann Grace B. Dulay, Sir Johnson P. Sunga, Sir Roderick R. Castillo, and Ma’am Leah L. Olua for their visit, guidance, and unwavering commitment to supporting schools in delivering quality education. Their encouragement and expertise inspire us to continuously improve and remain steadfast in our mission of nurturing every learner toward success.
Maraming salamat po sa inyong suporta at malasakit sa edukasyon.

Today, we honor a man whose words awakened a nation and whose courage inspired generations. More than a national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal reminds us that true change begins with education, critical thinking, and love for one's country.

Earlier today, our school actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) as part of our commitment to promoting disaster preparedness and ensuring the safety of all learners, teachers, and personnel.

The activity began with the sounding of the earthquake alarm, prompting everyone to immediately perform the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure. After the simulated shaking stopped, participants calmly and orderly proceeded to their designated evacuation areas, demonstrating preparedness and discipline during emergency situations.

Following the drill, a Post-Assessment and Evaluation Activity was conducted at the Covered Court. School officials, teachers, and disaster risk reduction coordinators gathered to review the conduct of the exercise, identify strengths, discuss areas for improvement, and reinforce essential earthquake safety protocols. The assessment served as an opportunity to enhance our school's readiness and response capabilities in the event of a real earthquake.

Through activities like the NSED, we continue to strengthen a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience within our school community.

"Prepared today, safe tomorrow."

The Office of the School Principal, under the leadership of 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗔. 𝗗𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗮, continues to make significant strides in improving school facilities and creating learning spaces that support the academic growth and well-being of our learners.

Among the recently completed projects is the construction of the 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟯 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 (𝗖𝗥), strategically located at the back of the canteen. This project was made possible through funds generated during the school’s 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, showcasing how community support can be transformed into lasting educational infrastructure.

Another major initiative is the construction of the 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, a project 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗧𝗔. This facility will serve as a dedicated venue for reading enhancement, literacy interventions, and the development of essential communication skills among learners.

Also underway is the construction of the 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗦𝗛𝗦) 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, another PTA-funded project designed to provide SHS students with a conducive environment for learning, collaboration, and academic enrichment.

In addition, the school has successfully completed the 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀. This improvement enhances food preparation and service operations, ensuring more efficient delivery of canteen services to learners and school personnel.

These accomplishments are a testament to the power of collaboration, responsible resource management, and a shared commitment to educational excellence. The Office of the Principal extends its sincere gratitude to the PTA, stakeholders, parents, teachers, alumni, and the entire school community for their continued support in making these projects a reality.

Together, we continue building better facilities, stronger programs, and brighter opportunities for every learner.
