Born on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟱, 𝟭𝟴𝟯𝟳, 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗰𝗵, 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆, St. Arnold Janssen grew up in a devout Catholic family that nurtured his deep faith and missionary spirit. Moved by a burning desire to spread the Gospel, he founded the 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 (𝗦𝗩𝗗) 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟴𝟳𝟱, followed by the 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗽𝗦) and the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗦𝗦𝗽𝗦𝗔𝗣) — congregations that continue to bring the Word of God to people across the world.

After a lifetime devoted to faith and mission, St. Arnold passed away on 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟱, 𝟭𝟵𝟬𝟵, and was 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗜𝗜 𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟯.
