Ang sariling wika ang unang tinig na humuhubog sa pagkatao at nag-uugnay sa atin bilang isang bayan. Sila ang mga Teaching Interns ng 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 — tagapagbitbit ng kasaysayan, tagapag-ingat ng panitikan, at tagapanday ng kaalaman ng kabataan.

Sila ang mga tinig ng bayan, Mga tagapagsalaysay ng kasaysayan, Mga ilaw ng kulturang Pilipino, Tanglaw ng kabataan sa mundong bago.

Ngayon, humahakbang nang may dangal at layunin. Handa nang magturo, handa nang manguna, Handa nang magmulat ng isipan at diwa— Sa wika at panitikang Pilipino, sila’y tunay na nagpapakadalubhasa.

Long before discoveries are made in laboratories, it is the science teachers who first spark the question “𝘞𝘩𝘺?” and the wonder of “𝘏𝘰𝘸?” These are the Teaching Interns of 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 — mentors who will guide young minds to explore, experiment, and embrace the unknown.

Not just interns, but igniters of curiosity. Navigators of knowledge. Stewards of truth.

Before the world teaches them numbers and equations, it is the early teachers who first teach children how to wonder, to care, and to dream. These are the Teaching Interns of 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — the ones who will hold small hands while leading them to bigger worlds.

Not just interns, but storytellers. Dream builders. Sparks of every learner’s tomorrow.

Now, they rise beyond preparation. They are ready to teach. They are ready to lead. They are ready to become.

The 𝗢𝗻-𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 for teaching interns of PSU-UCC commenced on October 1, 2025, at CB Mall Event Center, Urdaneta City, with the theme “𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳: 𝘌𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱.”

The program opened with the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗢𝗠𝗦 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 delivered by Ms. Juleah Borillo, followed by the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 from our Practice Teaching Coordinator, Mr. Mark Darrel Parayno, who highlighted the essence of preparing future educators for both the challenges and opportunities of the classroom. The event continued with the 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 of the Teaching Internship President, Mr. Malky Linzag, who shared that this journey is like a bridge—connecting the ideals of being a student to the realities of becoming a teacher.

An 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 was then delivered by the Dean of the College of Arts and Education, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝗹 𝗧. 𝗖𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗯𝘆𝗮𝗯, reminding the interns that teaching is more than just imparting knowledge, but also shaping values and character.

The program was further enriched by the resource speakers. 𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗹, the first speaker, shared his insights on navigating professional work with passion and resilience. 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗽 the second resource speaker then discussed Action Research in relation to Classroom-Based Action Research, emphasizing its role as a tool for reflection and continuous improvement.

One of the highlights of the event was the 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, recognizing those who excelled during their Exit Demonstration Teaching. This moment served as an inspiration to all interns, showing that dedication, creativity, and passion in teaching are always worth celebrating.

The event culminated with the 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 by Mr. Michael Jame Grospe, who encouraged the interns to carry forward the lessons of the day with dedication and purpose.

Overall, the program was a success—filled with learning, inspiration, and meaningful exchanges—thanks to the leadership of the dedicated Teaching Internship Adviser and Officers of the campus. Through this event, teaching interns are not only equipped with knowledge but also empowered with motivation, ready to face new challenges as they step beyond their comfort zones.
