Mula sa mga bagong pasaherong nangangapa pa sa direksyon, hanggang sa mga beteranong sanay na sa biyahe at mga malapit nang bumaba sa huling destinasyon.🫶🏻

The officers of the Tourism Movers Society from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management successfully conducted a Clean-Up Drive at Orata Park last May 15, 2026.🌿

This meaningful activity reflects the organization’s commitment to promoting environmental awareness, cleanliness, and unity through simple yet impactful actions for the community. 🍃

Through teamwork and cooperation, the officers helped maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the area while encouraging everyone to become more responsible in caring for the environment.🌱♻️

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 15 (Life on Land)—this initiative highlights the importance of collective action in building a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for all.

Sa likod ng bawat tagumpay at matatag na pamilya, may isang sandigang hindi natitinag. Ngayong araw, kinikilala natin ang walang sawang pagmamahal at sakripisyo ng mga ina na nagsisilbing lampara sa madilim na daan. Isang pagsaludo sa mga reyna ng ating tahanan, ang ating unang g**o, tagapagtanggol, at walang sawang taga-suporta.

Under the theme “𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙝𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙩: 𝙄𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣, 𝘽𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖-𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜,” the nation pays tribute to the Filipino workforce. From domestic industries to the global stage, the Filipino laborer remains the primary engine of national resilience and economic growth.

Today, we stand in solidarity with the hands that build, the minds that innovate, and the hearts that serve. We reaffirm the collective commitment to upholding the dignity, fair wages, and welfare of every worker, the true foundation of a rising Philippines.

𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐆𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍 𝐈𝐓𝐈 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐆: 𝐔𝐂𝐔 𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Urdaneta City University (UCU), together with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) – Pangasinan Chapter, held 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴: 𝗨𝗖𝗨 𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on April 21, 2026, at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Complex. The activity centered on strengthening access to legal assistance, featuring a discussion on legal rights and the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗦), an initiative of the Supreme Court of the Philippines.

Resource speakers underscored the importance of legal aid in ensuring fairness and promoting gender equality, followed by an interactive open forum with participants. The program also provided free services such as legal consultations, assistance, and simple notarial processing, allowing attendees to receive immediate legal support in one place.

With the presence of university officials and IBP representatives, the event demonstrated strong cooperation in community service. Overall, the initiative aimed to make legal services more inclusive and accessible while raising public awareness of basic legal rights.⚖️
