Working tirelessly behind the scenes like dedicated system administrators, they execute the heaviest tasks just to ensure our futures run smoothly and lag-free.

Just like the precious memories captured and pinned on a board, their love and sacrifices are deeply integrated into who we are today. They are the open-source heroes who give everything without expecting a return, compiling the perfect framework for our success.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟬𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗨𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀’ 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 (𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗟) successfully participated in 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒅𝒂 𝑬𝒔𝒌𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮, 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻, contributing to the school’s preparation for the upcoming academic year.

In support of this year’s Brigada Eskwela theme, “𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏: 𝑵𝒂𝒈𝒌𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒂 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑲𝒂𝒂𝒚𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒂𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏,” INTEL officers, student volunteers, and faculty members joined hands in a meaningful outreach activity centered on service, collaboration, and community engagement. Participants assisted in cleaning and preparing classrooms and school facilities, donated cleaning materials, and provided assistance with basic technology-related concerns, including printer resetting and cable management within school offices.

The outreach activity served as an opportunity for students to extend their knowledge and skills beyond the classroom while fostering volunteerism, teamwork, and social responsibility. More importantly, it strengthened the partnership between Pangasinan State University – Urdaneta City Campus and Tuliao National High School through a shared commitment to supporting quality education and creating a conducive learning environment for students.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the support of the College of Computing, led by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻-𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮, Dean of the College of Computing, together with 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗔. 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹, Chairperson of the Information Technology Department, and the dedicated 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 who helped make this activity a success.

Yesterday, May 29, 2026, the PSU Urdaneta Information Technology community proudly participated in the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, a collaborative academic initiative that brought together learners and educators from different institutions and countries through the shared pursuit of technological innovation.

Representing 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗔. 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹, Chairperson of the Information Technology Department, delivered an insightful lecture on 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. During her presentation, she discussed the fundamentals of how AI works, its growing impact across various industries, and the ways it continues to transform how people live, work, and solve problems in the modern world.

She also presented several AI-integrated capstone projects developed by BSIT students of PSU Urdaneta majoring in Web and Mobile Technologies. These projects demonstrated how students are applying emerging technologies to create innovative and practical solutions, showcasing the creativity, skills, and potential of future IT professionals.

To conclude her lecture, Dr. Pacol encouraged students to embrace AI as a tool for learning, productivity, and innovation. She emphasized the importance of working with AI responsibly, continuously developing technical skills, and using technology to create meaningful impact in society.

The session served as a valuable opportunity for learning, collaboration, and global academic engagement, reflecting PSU Urdaneta’s commitment to producing future-ready IT professionals who are prepared to go BEYOND boundaries through technology and innovation. 🚀✨
