Cor Jesu College at the 2026 DDACS Educators’ Congress

Cor Jesu College, Inc. joined fellow Catholic educators from across the Diocese of Digos for the 2026 Diocese of Digos Association of Catholic Schools (DDACS) Educators’ Congress, held on October 3, 2026, at Holy Cross Academy, Inc., Digos City.

With the theme “Catholic Education: Drawing New Maps of Hope Amidst the Challenges of AI,” the congress brought educators together to reflect on the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence while reaffirming the important role of faith, human dignity, and values in Catholic education.

Representing Cor Jesu College as one of the speakers was Dr. Cesar A. Tecson, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, who delivered the talk “Preparing for an AI-Powered Cross-Border Future: The Emerging Role of Education.” Also contributing to the meaningful discussions was Dr. Lemuel Sayao, Director of Research and Publication Office of Cor Jesu College, who served as one of the reactors during the congress.

As we navigate a rapidly changing world, may we continue to embrace innovation while remaining steadfast in our mission to educate with faith, compassion, and purpose.
