The Alternative Learning System (ALS) of Compostela West District successfully conducted the Accreditation and Equivalency (A & E) Examination, marking another significant milestone in providing second-chance education to our dedicated learners.
We extend our warmest congratulations to all ALS learners who took the examination today. Your courage, perseverance, and commitment to finish the test despite challenges are already achievements worthy of recognition. No matter the outcome, you have proven your determination to pursue your dreams through education. We are truly proud of you.
The ALS Compostela West District also expresses its sincere appreciation to our partners and stakeholders whose invaluable support contributed to the success of this activity: the Local Government Unit of Compostela led by Hon. Levi S. Ebdao, the Barangay Local Government Units of New Alegria, Gabi, OsmeΓ±a, San Jose, Mapaca, Bagongon, Siocon, Aurora, San Miguel, Maparat, and Lagab, together with their respective Sangguniang Kabataan Councils, for their generosity in providing meals, school supplies, and logistical assistance to our learners.

SAY NO TO DRUGS: A DRUG SYMPOSIUM AWARENESS FOR ALS LEARNERS
Today, the ALS Compostela West District successfully conducted a Drug Symposium Awareness for ALS learners. This meaningful activity aimed to educate and empower learners with the knowledge, values, and awareness needed to resist and prevent drug abuse in the community.
Our guest speaker, PCPL Ken Naupan from the Police Station of the Municipality of Compostela, delivered an informative and impactful discussion on the dangers of illegal drugs, their effects on individuals and families, and the importance of making responsible life choices. His expertise, real-life insights, and dedication to public service inspired our learners to stay vigilant and committed to living a drug-free life. Thank you, sir, for sharing your valuable knowledge and for encouraging our learners to become responsible members of society.
This activity would not have been successful without the support and collaboration of the following individuals: the LGU Compostela, headed by Mayor Levi Ebdao; the District Coordinating Principal, Dr. Maria Bella R. Alvarez; the School Principal IV of Maparat Elementary School, Maβam Ivy G. Yee-Grajo; the Barangay Officials of Maparat, Compostela, spearheaded by Barangay Captain Vilma I. Barbarona; and the SK Officials, headed by SK Chairman Kin Vincent T. Declaro. Your dedication and unwavering support made this event possible.

A Productive Day For,
Safety First: Fire Prevention and Safety Awareness
In observance of Fire Prevention Month this March, the ALS Compostela West District successfully conducted a Fire Awareness Activity to promote safety, preparedness, and awareness among our ALS learners. The activity aimed to educate participants on the importance of fire prevention and the proper response during fire-related emergencies.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Compostela (LGU), headed by Mayor Levi S. Ebdao, for the continued support and commitment to programs that promote community safety and awareness.
Our heartfelt appreciation to the Bureau of Fire Protection β Municipality of Compostela for their valuable support and for providing knowledgeable and engaging speakers who made this activity informative and meaningful. Thank you to FO2 Reymond E. Flores, FO1 Ariston James P. Abarca, and FA Chris Marc A. Oquas for sharing their expertise, conducting demonstrations, and educating our learners on proper fire safety and prevention.
We would also like to thank our District Coordinating Principal, Dr. Maria Bella R. Alvarez, for her guidance and support in making this activity possible.
Our appreciation is also extended to the School Head of Corazon C. Aquino Elementary School, sir Selang M. Cuyos, for allowing us to borrow the fire extinguisher used during the demonstration.
To the dedicated ALS teachers and implementers, headed by District ALS Coordinator, Maβam Maria Filipinas M. Palmero, thank you all for your hard work and commitment in organizing and facilitating this activity.
