Minsan na lang talaga kami mag-cinema. 😅

Usually, okay lang sa amin maghintay na lumabas sa Disney+ or Netflix. Mas madalas, mas gusto naming gumastos sa parks, museums, nature trips, or experiences together.

Actually, hindi rin in-expect ng mga bata na manonood kami ng Toy Story 5. Okay lang talaga sa kanila maghintay.

Pero this time, may pumasok na idea.

Sabi namin, "What if gamitin natin yung naipon sa Sell Something Saturdays?"

Yung maliliit na profits from our CMC Playshop fund.

Yung Saturdays, meaningful na on their own.

Making together.
Selling together.
Meeting people.
Learning together.

Bonus yung movie. 🍿🥹

From making things at home...
to opening our little garage...
to meeting wonderful people in different bazaars...

Those little Saturdays quietly became one beautiful family memory. ❤️

Just saw this on my phone, and I know it was my eldest daughter who captured it.

It makes me happy that she still appreciates the beauty of a sunset. Even when hindi kami magkasama sa walk, or when she's outside playing, uuwe sya para kumuha ng phone to capture the sunset.

Sometimes, if I'm available, yayain nya ako lumabas.. to pause for a moment and watch the sunset together.

What I love most is that she takes the time to stop, appreciate the moment, uuwe sa bahay so she can capture the sunset, then ipapakita nya sa akin.

In a world that moves so fast, it's these little moments that remind me to slow down and see the beauty around us through her eyes.

While planning our week, I started with a question: "What is my now?" Just a simple practice to ground us in the present moment. Then I stepped away for a minute... bathroom break muna. 😅

Pagbalik ko… Tadaaaah!
Parang magic... my quiet planning suddenly turned into a little vision for our week.

Macie told me, with excitement, that she wants to sell lemonade and cookies.

I honestly don’t know yet how we’ll make it happen 🤔🙄🙄
…but that’s what I love about Lifeschooling... following their ideas, supporting their spark, letting real life become their classroom.

So it looks like a new adventure is joining our “Sell Something Saturday.” 😊

Our Monday... no main lesson day. We call it our planning day... short and sweet. We watched our previous activities and laughed at our pictures. 😁

It’s also a time to recall what went well and what they enjoyed in our learning journey, as well as to bravely share what didn’t go so well. 😂 I found out that I talk too much 😅 and sometimes they just need simpler explanations. 😁

We also talked about what we’re excited for in our next journey.

This new month is another adventure for us. We’ll continue our journey with numbers.. our Math Block and see where it takes us next. 😊
